One thing that has been consistent over the years for me personally. If you're not sure about a game it is better to wait right before the start. One is to see where the line is moving toward, and another is to watch the warmup of the starting QB's if that is possible. Take notice of the facial expression of both. It's like a poker game. If you see a QB smiling and throwing like he's having fun, that is a very good sign. on the other hand, if you see a QB warming up and looks worried, maybe just a little intense, that to me is a sign he's not confident and has a lot of concerns.
Just something to add to your arsenal that has worked for me when I'm not sure about game.
Now let's take tonights game between Tennessee and Georgia Tech. Try to watch the eyes and facial expression of both QB's during warmup if they get it on camera. This will be very telling of how they feel about the game they are about
to play. Sometimes you can't tell, but a lot of times you can.
