Huskies are more of a finesse team and these teams usually don't do well playing against big physical teams like Bama, this game will be like the oregon vs ohio st game

LT I have valued all your posts over the years. I think Alabama wins rather easily but you are smart enough to know they do have a chance.

I think they have a chance. First, Peterson is an outstanding coach. How often has he beaten teams with superior talent at boise state? A lot.
Second, the sec imo is not very good so Alabama dominance may be overstated. Pac 12 is not great either though. Third, washington is excellent in creating turnovers and i think they can bait alabama freshman quarterback in some mistakes.
Fourth, anything can happen and underdogs have been killing it this bowl season.

If the huskies play straight down the field football. Maybe a chance. Go left right or throw short not a prayer. Michigan OC didn't get it til the 4th quarter

Peterson a smart guy, prob been studying last two years of Ole Miss tape against Bama to see how they were able to put up pts against them. Only seen Wash. a couple times, I remember a couple speedy receivers, skinny guys. USC was more physical than Huskies I heard well theyll surely remember this one.

As much as I would like to see it, I don't think UW stands a chance. Their QB is awful under pressure and that is how it is going to be all day. Bama has by far the best defensive line UW will see. He will be sacked and turn the ball over because they will not be able to run the ball. I think this will be a route unfortunately

Even if they were in The position to win the refs would make a call to go against Washington. You can't have the huskies in a national title game. It won't sell.

It would have to be a fluky win due to turnovers, I do not see the Washington offense moving the ball at all. You do not beat Alabama with a pro style offense, teams that give them trouble have mobile quarterbacks. Browning is a mostly immobile pro style quarterback and he lacks the arm strength to boot to hit some long big plays. It is a shame really because Huskies do have great receivers. Bottom line, Bama defensive line should manhandle finesse team like Washington.

Chris Petersen is a good coach,he was the one that brought Boise into the forefront back in its hey day. Washington might be able to keep it close, everyone and their mother is on Alabama.

Exactly my feel on the game. Peterson quietly top 3 coach in country. Its not just the receivers, but a qb that will challenge them down field and throw accurately into a zone on 3rd down. Kelly did and Cardell did as well. not to mention the oklahoma qb that destroyed bama a few years ago. I think +14 is a great number, but i am also ofer when i bet for or against alabama. but a half unit on the money line is worth it.

I hope so. This is my last chance before I'm under a bridge. Put $200 on the ML when it came out at +685. Back when I had money. Come on UDub.
