    Sam, I understand, but they'll wanna keep the 1 seed but if they lose they'll probably drop from the 1 spot, so my point is they'll try and at least win the game, just no high margin of victory needed

    how is it rigged if they lose, they are undefeated it shouldn't matter if u lose week 1 or the last week alabama is one of the top 4 teams even with a loss

    that's stupid then all the teams would play idahto state of the blind non conference, fans wouldn't get to see any good non conference games because teams would only focus on conference play

    Imagine if uw lost yesterday. Then according to committee, playoff teams would be bama, Clemson, osu and Michigan. In other words 2 big ten teams that didn't even make the championship game, let alone win it

    That division is so top heavy you're bound to have one loss. Ohio St. was 3 pts from being 12-0 this year and last. Michigan 4 pts from being undefeated this year. Buckeyes were 3x better last yr than this year, but a 3pt divisional loss to state keeps them out. and state gets pounded by bama 38-0. same would happen to penn st this year. who wants to see that?

    lol, Sadly we need more chaos to void the current contract for next 8 or X years and go to a 8 team playoff. However I kind of like the 4 team format, but the downside is we will never see a team like WMU get their Hoosier moment of playing the cinderella card. What happens if they go undefeated after the Cotton Bowl and Bama chokes a game?....Co-champs?....no, nothing. It was nice bowl win, here is your free t-shirt.

    Langster I get it, the only team that can beat Bama is Bama, much respect for them. But just like Trump could never be president at +600 odds the night before the election, upsets can and do happen.

    I'm too old to be bitchn in public, so I really don't care who they choose. And 2nd, they wouldn't have "let" those crappy teams in, those crappy teams would have earned it and I could live with that. Plus there would be some awesome bowl matchups outide the playoffs. A few certainties in life: the sun will always rise from the east, sugar causes cancer, aliens exist and are among us (a few them post here), and college football D1 will always be rigged.

    Saban does the same thing every year, its smart acting on his part to keep his team motivated and focused. They usually come into these late games focused and they crush. You gotta figure UF might score no more than 13 and one of them may be a special teams score, Bama gonna wear them down.

    But it COULD happen. Personally I have the Big Ten Champ slotted in Playoff with a Clemson loss while it seems committee prefers Michigan. Almost rooting for a Clemson loss just to see what happens!
