    This Weeks Important Games

We are down to four undefeated teams now that phony Texas A&M has been dispatched out of the undefeated ranks. Here are how things stand and the early odds for some critical games:

Alabama is undefeated and has a cakewalk against Miss. State, a team that probably will NOT get a bowl berth. 'Bama is -29.

Clemson also undefeated hosts Pitt, who has dropped their last two. Clemson is -20.

Undefeated Michigan visits a downtrodden Iowa team with one of the most over-rated HC's in the game. Michigan is -19.

In what is by far the best game involving undefeated's, Washington hosts a red hot USC team that has won 5 straight and averaged 40 points per game in those 5 games. Udub is -8.

Other games include a decent Thursday Night affair between Utah, still in the Pac 12 South race, at Arizona State, still in the hunt for a bowl game. Utah is -5 1/2.

For you long shot/teaser lovers, 6-3 Wake Forest goes to 8-1 Louisville (2-3 ATS in their last 5 games) and gets 33 points.

In the Losers Bowl, 1-8 Kansas hosts 1-8 Iowa State and rather unbelieveably gets 10 1/2 points. Iowa State is 6-2 ATS, while Kansas is 2-6 ATS.

In the oldest rivalry South of the Mason-Dixon line, Auburn goes to Georgia and gives the Dawgs 10 points. UGA has won the last 5 games at home against the War Eagles.

BigDaddy, good stuff. thanks for starting these commentaries.

USC has got really really good since the first 2 or 3 games. changed QB's and almost their entire front 7 was very young so they've matured some individually and as a unit.

probably gonna jump on the Miss State. Saban is NOT a run-up the score guy and has freshman QB who he'll probably protect in many ways. not quite an ideal "alabama won't run the score" spread but it's close. lots of ways to win the spread bet.
