This looks a bit like the Auburn/Arkansas last week. I had Auburn but the same type of metrics resulted in a forecast favoring Arkansas...we saw how that went.

Now we're dealing with a same thing, even two ranked teams. Could be the dog this time, too early to tell but the initial line move affords us some time.

This one's a tough game to cap. Nebraska is not as good as their record, but their aren't terrible either and Wisconsin doesn't have the kind of offense that just runs teams out of the stadium. +9 is pretty insulting and Nebraska is going to be very motivated for Wisky, whom I believe is in their class talent-wise. The Huskers really need Jordan Westerkamp back for this game, as he is Tommy's security blanket and opens up the passing game immensely.

I do respect your opinion but have to disagree with the comparison to the SEC game. If Nebraska had anyone on their schedule thus far they wouldn't be undefeated. They have road a terrible schedule to an undefeated season thus far is the only reason anyone is talking about this team. Whisky has played 3 teams already that would massacre Nebraska.
I think Nebraska will find it very tough to score in this game and if they can't score the lead will swell as Huskier defense is mediocre at best. Nebraska has no business being in any conversation for the playoff and will be exposed as frauds down the stretch imo, starting with this game. I think whisky wins this by double digits.

I hear you Unde, my comparison has more to do with my forecasts being so close and the lines moving to where they are, they seem very similar. The markets have a tendency to do that.

I guess my point is do we think nebraska is skating by luckily and beating bad to okay teams or are they the real deal. I still watch wisconsin games and haven't felt impressed. Nebraska has had some major injuries this year but still have found a way to win all 7.....including 10 of the last 11 going back to last season. I think Nebraska is more healthy at this point than Wisc. Wisc secondary is weak. Nebraska needs to exploit that. Wisc will run the ball successfully between the tackles. BUT Wisc is not that great on offense. I think Nebraska can hang in this game. The difference here is the home crowd. This isnt a Bo Pelini led team. Nebraska wont melt down and get blown out. Next two weeks will be a great indicator on where this team is. Nebraska is definatley not ready for Ohio State. I think Wisc pulls out the victory in this one but by a field goal. Nobody saw Penn State beating Ohio State..... you never know.

Nebraska has injuries all across their OL which probably explains the number when you consider Wisconsin's strength is their DL.
