It looks like Boise is going to run the table if they beat byu....

Maybe Air Force can trouble them? They'll be favored over San Diego st in their championship game.

You have to let them in the playoff right?

dont get me wrong i'd like to see them in

my question why did houston got preseason hype for the playoff this year when boise in past it was always "they dont get in even if sec team loses 2 games". yes they had OU and lousiville on schedule but still boise got jerked so many times even to point of not passing 2 loss teams

i havent really checked them out this year but im guessing they arent on the level they were back then ?

No they haven't been the same since Chris Petersen left, and you see how well he's doing with the Huskies right know. But having said that I think they could give some of the top teams a run for their money on the day, people were bitching about Boise's schedule back during their Petersen years so yeah I guess you cant help that, can only play who's infront of you.

Yeah I think ESPN would sooner have Notre Dame in their then Boise. I remember when Boise were playing Oklahoma and VTech back in the day,not one analyst gave them a chance in hell to do anything in either game.

Me too lsu is down this year and they would probably be double digit chalk vs Boise on a neutral field.

Clemson , Bama, Ohio state or Michigan and who's the other playoff team I'm missing?

Playoffs should be really good this year...

The Michigan/Ohio state game should be the bees knees this year.

For real? Boise coaching staff would give anything to have the athletes LSU gets. Lsu would crush Boise. Fournette might rush for 250 on them.

Why? I just asked a question I'm not saying Boise is good or that they SHould make the playoffs.

But it's likely they run the table it's kinda messed up not to consider them.

    Jeez

LSU has no offense, BSU defense would sell out on the rush and win

Dude since les got canned they've scored 40+ a game. The offense especially since they switched to etling has been a lot better. Lsu always has future NFL Wrs dupre Clark

dont get it twisted. Guice is a future NFL back he's nice he's just stuck behind Leonard.

As usual, you idiots are comparing apples with oranges. The playoffs include 4 teams, normally chosen from the Power 5 conferences. The "New Years 6" Bowl games include the playoffs (2 games) and 4 other games. The highest ranking team from the Group of 5 (Conferences not in the Power 5) is guaranteed a spot in one of those games. That is NOT necessarily the playoffs.

Right now, Boise State and Western Michigan seem to have a leg up on the other Group of 5 teams. The rule says that it MUST be a Conference Champion, unlike the Power 5 rankings. Houston is still in the picture but needs Nave to lost two conference games.

As far as LSU is concerned, they still are a 4 loss team at best. They scored 40 at home against Southern Miss and Missouri. Really? Who give a crap?

Boise St. was really good back in those days, I have seen them a few times this year. They aren't that great of a team this year. I wouldn't be surprised if BYU knocks them off.

Yeah those were good times,we were able to go and take on heavy hitters like Oklahoma and win. If Petersen stuck around who knows, maybe we could have gotten into a power Conference if we kept plugging away. I agree they aren't that same team,no argument with me,but I think we could give some of these power schools a tough time if given a go.

Or Washington if undefeated. I get that Huskies would be neutral field dogs vs. Louisville or Michigan/OSU loser, but I suspect committee would give preference to undefeated major conference champ.

Neither are getting in unless you have a scenario like 2007 again and even then it's iffy
