Yes, I said it. LOCK! Nebraska coming off a much needed win against Oregon. Normally a potential letdown spot. Not here. Northwestern has been a thorn in Nebraskas side since joining the Big 10. Nebraska will not look past NW here. Very important first conference game for the Huskers. Nebraska has the edge in every spot here. Better offense. Rushing and passing. Better defense. Rush D and pass D. Last year was year 1 for coach Riley. The defense was a mess. They understand the system better this year. Northwesterns pass D is horrible but Im not sure Nebraska will even try to exploit that like they should. They will run the ball down Northwesterns throat. I dont see how NW stays within 2 scores here.
Congrats but as a fellow husker. That was lady luck on your side. NW kicker helped a bit too. I think like the skers last year they need to look in the Chem lab for a backup. Go big red. A much improved team all around
