New 4 Team Playoff System in CFL

Teams do not try hard now in the regular season because they know they can get in with one or even two losses if they win the conference championship.

This is what the critics were afraid. It waters down the regular season. Coaches are preparing teams to be ready in two months instead of now.

Jimbo and Saban don't care winning games early. Ohio St could lose tonight too and Oklahoma becomes a contender again. Something is not right.

good college players playing for nfl contracts. most totally unconcerned about winning ncaa championship rather than staying healthy to get drafted.

I'd say every game really matters....now if it was an 8 team playoff or even 16 I could agree

OK. Lets say Oklahoma runs the the table in Big 12 and win the conference championship wouldn't they be in the playoffs? Would you take the loser of SEC or Big 10 championship game over Oklahoma if they both have 2 losses?

    As of today:

    Alabama - best team
    Louisville - scary good team
Ohio State - very scary good team
Clemson or Houston - good team but several flaws

If they both have 2 losses then no. But you have to take any undefeated teams in power conferences or even 1 loss teams over them.

Louisville goes to Houston on 11/17. A Houston loss finishes them. There is a very good chance that both Boise State and San Diego State run the table and the winner of the CC game between those two will get the nod over a one loss Houston team. Louisville also must get past a game at Clemson on 10/1.

I just want to see Alabama vs Ohio State in the National Championship and Michigan vs Ohio State beforehand.
