    Syracuse +14.5 vs. Louisville

I kinda like the home dog in a big Friday night nationally televised game. Babers is a good head coach, and playing in that dome is tough for any opponent.

What do you guys think about this one? Just trying to get some discussion from some people more in the know about these teams than I am.

Will be taking Louisville on the moneyline as part of parlays. I know its not a big ballsy move but thats what it is. Giving more than 2 TDs in the dome is something I cant do. ML is a pretty safe play, IMO, of course. Syr cant outscore the cards even inside.
Good luck to all, but mostly to me.

A lot of things play into this game. First, how can you say that Babers is a good HC when his record as a HC is 18-10 at Bowling Green and 2-2 against Power 5 schools? That is simply a statement that has yet to be proven. Syracuse is 1-4 ATS in the last 5 games against Louisville. They are also 1-10 ATS as Weekday Dogs. One would think that Louisville would coast in this game, but it is a major look ahead game because they get Florida State at home next week. I cannot see any way that Louisville loses this game unless Patrino fails to get his team ready. Covering 14.5 is a different story as you know Patrino will take as few risks as he can to avoid any injuries to starters. If you are going to play Louisville, play the ML.

Syracuse is the right side, no doubt. 6-1 ATS at home last year including easy covers against LSU and Clemson. The power ratings don't even support this play, and UL is in a lookahead to boot?

What is really strange is the complete and total lack of line movement in Vegas. Very little has been wagered on this game. 11 out of 15 books have had the game at -14 1/2 all week.
