ESPN's Paula Lavigne and Mark Schlabach report that a woman is accusing Florida sophomore WR Antonio Callaway and transferring WR Treon Harris of a December sexual assault.
Florida suspended Harris and Callaway in January due to a violation of the student code of conduct. Little information beyond that has been available as to the exact circumstance that led to those suspensions until now. Per ESPN's sources, the woman in question reported the alleged December assault to the student conduct and conflict resolution office. She did not report it to the police. Callaway is having his student code of conduct hearing on Friday, but the woman will not be attending due to the fact that Florida hired one of its own boosters to adjudicate the proceedings. For the time being, the still-suspended Callaway is being allowed to practice with the Gators. Source: ESPN.com Aug 5 - 2:07 PM
