    This Weeks Big Games

While this week does not have the "blockbuster" games that last week did, there still are some very good games and certainly some possible upsets out there. Here are a few games to watch:

Oklahoma @ Baylor. Since their loss to Texas, Oklahoma has been laying the best ball in the Big 12, covering their last 4 games easily. Baylor has not looked very good of late, barely getting by Kansas State on the road, winning 31-24. OU defeated K-State 55-0 in Manhattan.

Alabama @ Mississippi State. 'Bama is coming off a huge win against LSU, and now controls their own destiny in the SEC West. Miss. State has not defeated 'Bama since 2007. 'Bama ruined State's perfect season last year. Sounds like the stuff that upsets are made of. Check the line closely.

Miami @ North Carolina. This is a huge game for UNC. Their only loss this season was an opening week loss to South Carolina. They are the forgotten team in the ACC. This is UNC's last home game. They finish the season at Va. Tech and N.C. State. Who knows which Miami team shows up?

Oregon @ Stanford. Stanford is on a roll, having run the table after a game 1 loss to Northwestern. The Cardinal are 8-0 S/U and 7-1 ATS since that opening day loss. The playoffs are still a possibility for them. Oregon has had a disappointing season by Oregon standards, but still has the ability to score and can not be taken lightly.

Utah @ Arizona. Utah needs a win to stay ahead of USC in the Pac 12 South race. They are another 1 loss team looking for a New Years Eve or Day game. This is their last away game. Arizona still needs one more win to become bowl eligible. They did not mail it in against USC last night, in a 38-30 loss. RichRod teams can score.

I like Arizona. Good spot for them. My only concern is their rush defense going up against Booker.

I cannot go against Utah. For some totally unknown reason, they were dogs against Washington and had no problem handling them.

Alabama has not lost two regular season games in a season since 2010. Tough to fight that.

Baylor has owned Oklahoma lately, going 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. How do you lose to Texas?

Stanford's defense may be suspect. The two best teams they have played so far (USC and UCLA) have scored 31 and 35 points respectively against them.

North Carolina seems to have the easiest road to victory, but they are giving a ton of points (13) to a Miami team that may have turned a corner.
