i think WKU covers easily as my thread I posted a few days ago said. WKU is very dangerous on offense and will keep this within 17 for sure. Sleepy spot for LSU after tough gator game and a week off with bama on deck right after.

LSU has a bye week after this game, so they may not be in as much of a look ahead spot as usual.... but I do agree, WKU is the kinda team that could have a back door cover with that strong offense

no back door will be needed here, I fully expect WKU to keep it tight the whole way. But yes just in case the back door is always open, 17 is a lot of points vs a very good offense like WKU
how many points do you see wku scoring? because LSU will probably drop mid 40s they'll pull fournette in the 2nd half but the 3 other stud rbs are going to run wild too. wku defense will be beat to shit come 4th qtr both fournette and guice are big and run super hard should be ground to dust come 4th qtr.
These small schools run into a buzzsaw they aren't ready for in a school like LSU. I see the record and the offense but I have seen this before with undefeated scrublet schools that get steamrolled by 4-6 5-5 big money schools. These kids are the leftovers of the Petrino guy right? so no surprise they are getting some wins but he isn't on the sidelines anymore but if there ever was a sexy upset pick this would probably be it. As many as they want. Their offense is explosive as well, doughty can pick them apart all day, so many weapons. Like I said, I really think WKU has a shot, very small to win outright. LSU will over look this team heading into a bye with bama on deck and be surprised. The over is a good option as well
doughty and company are no scrublets.

Going to be tough to stop fournette, you're absolutely right. My bet is that every time doughty has the ball he can keep it within 17 not win straight up. Although I think that's quite possible

Home coming means nothing these days, more of a distraction than a help. Take a look at this seasons home coming games, a lot of the ap 25 lost straight up on home coming day so far
Thiis ain't no AP 25 team tho. This is a top 5 team, at home at night and homecoming.

not really. I went to a WKU@LSU game a few years ago. WKU was 40 pt dogs and they lead into the 3rd quarter. Even more recently, Towson went down to LSU and they lead at half time if I remember correctly. Les Miles doesn't run up the score on these teams and its been done before where these small schools hang for much of the game.
Flipside I'm from Louisiana 30 min from br. Western k is good but in there conferecs the sec is the land of the giants. Can wk get a back door maybe anything is possible that's why the game is played but boy I tell you those bayou bengals ain't nothing to play with they can kill you with all backs not just fornette they gonna run wk to death
