    Why is Ohio State ranked #1?

    The are good but not #1 good. Their QB isn't that good, which will guarantee that they will lose 1st game in the playoffs if they make it.
    Their schedule is pretty easy. A lot of decent teams, but only one top team, Michigan State. I think if they lose against against Michigan State, Ohio State shouldn't make the playoffs, because of their schedule, unless there are no undefeated teams at the end of the year.

    everyone of espn fukks love to suck ohio state's cokk but they're overrated.

    That's the problem with the polls - voters think the way seaborner does and allow last season's results to sway their vote.

    The committee doesn't appear to do that - if they did Fl. St. should've been a runaway #1 seed in the playoffs since they have a 25+ win streak

    If you are going by what teams have done THIS year, aren't those teams more impressive than OSU? Just leave OSU out and put in the teams that have played best thus far against OOC and early conference games..............because we ALL know how good and great teams are 4-5 into a new season
