    Nah. They played pretty well vs. Cal and OSU. They're just not that good. TCU and ND clobbered them because they're just far superior teams. I do think Art Briles and Gary Patterson will be their target once the season ends. Those two guys are killing Texas because they're stealing all their recruits....so what better way to fix that then give them whatever price they want.

    They have some of the most true freshman playing this year on a single team...so yeah alot of them are his guys. Only one of his guys that looks like he is worth a damn is malik jefferson.

    Well you can't win with a squad of true freshman. Texas sucked last year qb was crap but still managed to beat Okie St on the road, Texas Tech on the road, beat W. Virginia and played Oklahoma and UCLA close and went to a bowl, they overachieved yet you guys still say he sucks, wonder why. By year 3 and 4 they should be much better.

    Crazy how Mack gets a pass on leaving that program empty... It's like he walks on water. Grandpa gets a pass?? Strong is fukked either way he'll never get them back to where Texas believes it should be those days are over Baylor and tcu TT on the rise weren't what they are now when Texas was Texas. Top 10 nc contender days are long gone not to be seen for a bit maybe next decade cfb works in cycles nobody remembers when Florida st at was punching bag

    Guy makes Saban money but has only been the head coach at one other place, Louisville. So in a shite conference that teams were bailing on left and right and he had a QB (bridgewater) that was the best in the country. He got to pad his stats and record against shite teams.

    And he waltzed into Texas with the rep as a disciplinarian, but in fact he just talks the talk and has sub-standard coaching staff and is overwhelmed by the job. There is no order, he's lost the locker room, recruited crap, and is in far shittier position to recruit than before.

    Complete disaster - plus there is currently no Texas AD, so things are just more complicated. I don't know the story behind that.
