    Why do you say this? Bearcats giving up 32.5 points a game including 53 to Memphis. Bearcats are averaging 40 points a game including 412.5 passing yards a game. Canes will be without their top safeties for the first half. Canes gave up 33 points to Nebraska so I expect the Bearcats should be able to put up 30+. Sure the total is high, but I see this game being somewhere in the 45-42 area.

    this isnt baylor/texas tech, and it might well go over but the total too inflated this week from last weeks games imo. 70 is a TON for any 2 teams even in this seasons "flag football" high scoring trend in college. might be a few more unders hitting this week a lot of inflated numbers.

    Without having run any numbers or data on this game and me just talking i see canes winning 42-24.

    Cincinnati starter out new kid came into a zone last week against a bad Memphis D. Miami of Ohio gave this backup fits when he came in for starter Gunner. Miami is no longer the "U" and they are are not Memphis D, but somewhere in-between.

    Canes or nothing at all, in fact line seems awfully low, i feel it should be Miami -10.5 at least.

    Good-luck and remember Thursday's can be crazy.

    I agree, but this is supposed to be Golden's year to shine. Very high expectations this year and anything short of at least playing in the Conference championship game is failure. But I agree. They are called the Cardiac Canes for a reason...

    Hurricanes have a way of playing down to competition- especially on the road under lights in prime time. Cincy knows they're outclassed, and I expect 'em to swing for the fence in the 1h, exploit the missing safeties, and try to build a lead to defend in the second half with a ground game and clock control. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see cincy leading at h/t 27-17. Miami blows the fxxk up in the 2h and wins 44-41 with the Bearcats cashing a last minute garbage time crooked back door cover.

    Just not a sure thing no doubt. I know nothing is, but had they not scorewise dominated Nebraska last game for a half would you feel the same? They almost ended up losing. Miami is thin on D, didn't return much and missing a couple for a half. Had last game not occurred could you say you'd easily lay 7 on the road here? A game before playing State. Miami only led FAU by 3 at the half, 20-17. Just saying, 7 ain't nothing to sneeze at. Somebody has to play devil's advocate on the board, I like making a case for both.

    on that miami kickoff that went out of bounds the cincy guy touched it out of bounds before it hit the ground. shouldnt the ball be put where he touched it and not a penalty?

    I thought the same thing. Why the hell would he touch the ball? I guess the refs said that the ball was out of bounds before he caught it as both his feet were out of bounds.
