I'll be honest; I do not know much about Boise. I will say I was impressed with the way Matt John's, the UVA QB, sliced and diced the Notre Dame defense. Virginia's defense is no slouch as well. Plus the at home underdog factor, I like UVA here. What am I missing?
Virginia played pretty well against Notre Dame, but almost lost to William and Mary
last week and got blasted by UCLA in their other game. UVA's defense is 86th against
the run and 99th against the pass. That is a little misleading as they have played two
ranked teams already. Boise defense is 2nd against the run. Boise lost their starting
QB last week, but they are a run heavy team anyway. Mark Rypien's nephew may
get the start for Boise. I am leaning to taking Boise. Looks like it may be rainy in
Charlottesville, so it may neutralize what I see as an advantage for Boise. Good Luck!!
