Why is South Carolina only -3 against UNC???

Typically SEC is much better than the ACC.

    This line has me

Every year some college football writer claims UNC's recruiting class is among the best but none of these Tarhole football players ever amount to shit.

Does this gamecock QB really suck or something?

u know lines makers goal is to get equal action on both sides right?

Just b/c a team is favored by -7 for example does not mean the odds maker thinks they will win by a TD.

I can't imagine +3 is gonna bring in too much action on UNC, relative to the number of people who want to pound game roosters.

I like UNC with the points here. Quinshad Davis is a pretty good, under the radar nationally, WR for the Heels. Game is in Charlotte away from Williams-Brice stadium. Gamecocks breaking in a new QB this season. Tar Heels have some decent Jr/Sr talent on offense and just not a solid Gamecock roster for Spurrier this season.

I wouldn't bet the house on them by any means but could definitely be a nice early season win for your account in this spot.

so wait which side are you saying is the good bet?

    UNC?

I'll be honest i don't know anything about either teams players as both will have a lot of new faces. But traditionally South Carolina has a much better football program.

man.. that was a terrible display of defense by the Gamecocks in that game.

what did they give up like 65 points at home?

shouldn't the defense be better though ?

UNC has 17 returning starters. 10 on offense.

South Carolina has 12 returning starters. Only 4 on offense, no QB's, no RB's, 1 WR.

Line is obviously UNC or pass.

UNC would be my play. Haven't locked in any bets as of today but this one will be on my sheet by this weekend.

Gamecocks have been good in the past but the loss of the QBs and not sure Brandon Wilds can handle the ball for them as well at RB and Pharaoh Cooper the only real threat on Spurrier's offense just makes me want to go against them this season. Take the Heels absolutely.

Heels can't stop anyone on defense, this game is a good temp gauge on both of these teams moving forward. Pass for me though.

Lines-makers use and rely heavily on "public perception" if you can find the lines the linesman are using this technique you will prosper.

I wonder what the record is for favorites in those early season 30+ point mis-matches. Seems to me like Fla St. -30 against Texas State, Georgia -35 against UL Monroe and Oklahoma -30.5 against Akron are pretty solid bets. How many times have you seen these games end up 70 - 3?

i want to take the gamecocks. i just can't see them dropping a second opening night game in a row against a team they should beat. i hate that it looks so easy though. i'm sure i will end up on them like a square anyway.

Exactly, I always kick myself when I don't play those early nonconference games and they end up 50-60 pt blowouts.

I'm hearing sc is supposed to suck apparently steve superior is confident in his team so confusing there ...only reason anybody is even looking at this game is because it's Thursday early seasonnactionnif this was sat game wouldn't evn make the radar....I think sc will win though and at that price I may get some.
