East — Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers.
West — Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin
This is what happens when you a group of educated idiots get together. You don't need to be a football genius to see what is on the horizon. All the powers in the East while the West is filled with mediocrity.
Based on coaching, recruiting classes and which team stock is going up and whose going down the unbalance between the East and West is alarming. This is a problem that will need to be addressed by the BIG sooner rather than later.
The best of the West (Nebraska and Wisconsin) are both headed for mediocrity and none of the rest are going to fill the void.
Meanwhile in the East Michigan, Penn State and Maryland are all going to get much better. Add in perennial powerhouses Ohio State and Michigan State.
Changes need to be made but the suits probably won't make them because to do so would admit they screwed it up again (remember the Legends and Leaders debacle).
