We fumbled at the 1 yard line also which was housed for a TD and still won on the road. Cut the crap

Good luck lining up and running it down Ohio States throat. Michigan State was pretty good at that. Ohio State GONNA beat Wisconsin

Georgia Tech has only beaten FSU twice since joining the ACC in 1992. 7 of the last 8 games have been decided by a touchdown or less.

kinda surprised these teams haven't played more often. Acc expansion killed this rivalry.

Not ignorant at all. Fact they are not ranked in the top 15 power rankings and 3-7 Ats against very weak teams. If they lose or lost one game this year we wouldn't even be talking about them. They were FUKING horrible against Florida. hope they lose to GT because they do not belong in the championship son!

They lose you can make a case to put them out of top 15

Flor St wins 3-4 games in SEC

This basically sums it up perfectly, especially barely squeaking by vs. mediocre teams week in and week out. Do not be blinded by the undefeated record because the one-loss teams that FSU would be competing against if Noles lose to GT would all also be undefeated vs. FSU's schedule except the wins would be much more decisive. Who was the one team FSU blew out this season? Wake Forest? Their other two covers were the two smallest point spreads they played to all year, and they had to rally from several touchdowns down in both vs. Louisville and Miami. Those were probably the two best team FSU faced this year, which is not saying much.

The Gators could have blown Florida State out of the water in the first quarter in that game but ****** shit up like I've never seen before. They had four opportunities to score...ended up with 3 field goals, and then up 9-0 with a chance to build a big lead, then throw an INT on the FSU 3 yard line that gets returned for a TD. Then a week before, Boston College screwed the game up down the stretch, getting conservative and trying to go for a field goal, which of course they miss.

Like or hate FSU, you have to admit they have been one very lucky team this year. From a penalty call against ND which usually never gets called (Just watch the end of the Ravens-Chargers game) to a bad Florida team who handed them the game...you just wonder how good they are? And if they were to lose to Ga. Tech and still get in the playoff, then somebody at FSU is paying off that committee.

Who cares about a power ranking, how can you rant about a team being horrible but they won the game, mindset all wrong thinking that a team has to cover a spread to be good that's the whole problem with you people and FSU they aren't any good cause they don't cover we'll you would have been 13-0 if you played their money line no other team in the nation is 13-0 on their money line but FSU.

But they would be in if they go to 13-0. The whole debate of this thread would be what would happen if they LOSE this week, and then the power ratings become VERY meaningful as that are ranked in the teens NOW at 12-0, so they would be out with a loss.

All this talk about elite and mediocre teams is a bunch of opinionated garbage, there is not one team that could've went undefeated with FSU schedule Alabama had 3 games where they won by a touchdown or less and straight loss to an average overhyped ole miss team barely beating Arkansas and gave up 44 points to auburn and a straight garbage out of conference schedule if this is considered elite than times have totally changed.

bump, I hate to sound like a teacher, but use some punctuation man.

GT is VERY average to below average at the passing game. I see FSU loading the box to help stop the run game. And GT had soooo many lucky breaks in the UGA game. If they are down 3 to FSU with :04 ticks left, that kicker won't barely skim the ball over the crossbar for a 53 yd FG again.

FSU keeps finding ways to win. In roulette, if the board has 10 reds in a row, people say "you better bet on black now!"... Betting GT because FSU is 'due' for a loss is not my ideology. I will be on FSU Moneyline.

Georgia Tech has a deceptively good passing attack & a good offense...though they will likely be without their best receiver. Like Auburn, you know what is coming but they are very tough to stop because they do what they do so well. I think their defense will be a little suspect against FSU though. I kinda like this over if I were to bet on the game.

obviously alabama will make it even with a loss, those scam committing is bedding the sec. if missippi st is ranked 4th wth 2 loss, obviously alabama will be ahead of missippi st with 2 loss. its a joke. missippi st is nothing special....missippi st, ohio st and florida state all belong in the same boat with good offense, inconsistencies and suspect defense....tcu is pretty good on both sides of the ball and they played some tough teams really well. tcu should be 4th, ohio st should be 5th then mississippi st. even georgia can probably beat mississippi st.

not if Buckeyes win Convingly over a top 10 opponent.

Ohio State may run the score up on Wisconsin to prove a point.

When you make Urban Meyer an underdog you are pulling on Supermans Cape.

This Buckeyes team aint going to take to well being disrespected like that as underdog. They are going to have a chip on their shoulder.

This is not surprising. The move is intended to pin FSU with Alabama to cut down travel for the Noles. It's also intended to block Baylor fans from going to court if Baylor finishes one spot behind a team they beat (assuming Ohio State loses this week). This was total strategy by the committee. TCU can now finish 3rd and Baylor 5th or 6th. The committee clearly thinks TCU is a better team than Baylor or else they wouldn't have ranked these teams the way they did.

Yeah, but TCU finishing 3rd and Baylor 6th will look a lot better for the committee than TCU 4th and Baylor 5th. They think TCU is clearly better and they're going to fix it so TCU is in and Baylor is out if it comes to that. You can like it or hate it, but the committee likes TCU and they should. I think they're a better team on a neutral field.

really strange to me that they said they were going to emphasize head to head and conference championships and they are keeping tcu ahead of baylor. a win vs minnesota is that good? only reason i can see for it really is that baylors loss was so bad vs wvu.

TCU also beat West Virginia...Baylor got crushed by them. There's a lot of different things you can bring up. Bottom line is the committee thinks TCU is a better team. Honestly, so do I. Head-to-head didn't matter in '93 when FSU finished #1 and Notre Dame #2 even though ND beat them. It's not always about head-to-head.

If FSU loses to Georgia Tech....which is very possible....then Baylor probably makes the top 4.

Florida State barely wins games against mediocre teams by the skin of their teeth.

Here is a good litmus test to determine playoff worthy college teams: If Arkansas plays all four top seeded teams today on a neutral field who could they beat?

Answer: Out of all four teams most likely Florida State....not the other three.

right because bama dominated arkansas by getting outgained by over 100 yards, getting more turnovers, and winning by a missed extra point.
