LOL SEC is in risk of missing the 4 team play off

even if alabama wins today, they could lose the sec championship game and no sec will be represented in the playoffs.

SEC is the stronger conference. Impossible to go undefeated when every game is between 2 ranked teams.

If that happens you can kiss the 9 game conference schedule goodbye.

Sec wants to see if the committee is competent enough to put in a 2 loss sec champ over a 1 loss any other hamburger champ

the west plays tough ball but the east part of conference blows. Think they went 0-4 with acc today.

sec is going downhill...acc whooped on them today, they are risking missing out on the playoff...and they have big 12 castoff mizzou playing for the sec championship 2 yrs in a row.

Sec west is beastly and beats up on each other but the east is mediocre. In need of a realignment if you ask me

Down year for SEC and especially the SEC East....They'll be back though, too much money, prestige, and power in the best part of the country for recruiting

To say otherwise is blind hatred

I still think the sec champ if they come from the west will make the playoff with 2 losses. Things can get even crazier depending on what happens in the conference championship games. After all Baylor will probably win the big 12 but tcu will still remain higher ranked which is really going to penetrate with things if a couple faves lose in their title games.

This games far from over though.

Not really even down but eating each other up.

if UGA has an 8 year old at head coach who has played a season of madden before and has basic time management skills they beat ga tech today

auburn was dead in the water and they are dominating the stats in this game right now, supposedly the committee looks at stuff like that. alabama should be out if they lose here, at least on the outside looking in, miss st was in with a win today i thought and shit the bed.

The playoff would be a joke with a 2 loss SEC team, just go back to BCS or polls if it's a "better team" subjective, unproveable bullsh1t standard and not based on performance when it matters, i.e. winning.

Guys calm down. Alabama is going to win tonight and beat Mizzou.

Some of the arguments are moronic. SEC has the most ranked teams of any division right now. 8 teams.

So you think Baylor is jumping two teams with one win? Ohio State & TCU? I don't see that. They'd have to win by an obscene amount to make up for their near choke job tonight IMO. And that might only help them to sneak past Ohio State.

think alabama has nothing to worry about. But i am sure the big12 teams would be salivating to play missouri.

Big 12 needs a title game.....how is that even allowed not to have one?

Also not sure why they didn't start with an 8 game playoff.....even number and you can have conference champions and a few wildcards

    4 makes zero sense

They can't have a title game because they are not split in divisions. How are you going to split them?

Someone needs to figure it out, or just have the top 2 teams play a championship....It fukks everything up when all other conferences are playing an extra title game

Consider you for the conference? Yeah they should.....Need to have even teams for the divisions and Cincinnati would be a solid addition for football/basketball

It’s not a question of UC wanting to join the B12, it’s the fact they’ve not been invited. They’d go in a heartbeat, just as they would have if the could have convinced the ACC to take them.

What casual fans outside the Tri-State area don’t understand is Cincinnati is not a college football town. UC can’t fill a stadium that seats a little better than 35k, despite the fact high school football in Cincinnati is huge and produces great talent. Trying to get a geographical rival for WVU makes sense, as does wanting to open Ohio recruiting to the B12. Not sure having to take a team with at best minimal fan support is worth what you have to gain if you’re the B12, however.

The Big 12 has always believed that with the evolution of the playoff system that their ten team league actually gives them a better shot at getting a team into the national title picture.

With the exception of UGA the rest of the ACC teams were supposed to win those games and were also playing at home.

Since 2009 UA or AU has been to the title game, the state of Alabama is pretty dominant I guess one could say.
