Lets talk about TCU... can get they get past Texas Longhorns?

This is a huge game and really the only obstacle standing in the way of TCU's Final Four playoff spot.

Does Texas take them down in this spot?

Can Coach Strong get his team up for this one?

any guess on what the spread will be?

Bear where the hell have you been?

Bear I do not think Texas will win.

Bear I think the spread will open at 7 and the bookies will hold firm at that number while many hit up the +7 early. The public will then pound TCU.

BEAR TCU WILL WIN BY 3

Expect a better effort from TCU with lots of prep time + fuming time from their poor effort against KU. They'll need help to get into the Playoff picture. Fully expect them to have dropped to #5 this week at least.

Oregon, Alabama, FSU, Mississippi State - maybe FSU at #2 and Bama at #3 ... you'll get a clear pic of how much the committee likes 'Bama with how much they move them up this week.

As for this game ... it's on TCU to start quick. Texas can stay with teams if they're not playing from a deficit. They aren't built to play catch-up though. If TCU stakes out to a double digit lead, Texas will have a real tough time with that mediocre offense. Texas D is good, so that is where they will pin their hopes and where they've been winning the last few weeks. Still think people are overrating TCU's defense this year some - they really struggle at-times with the pass. Luckily, UT is a run-first squad.

Might be the Homer in me, but I think TCU wins by double digits.

Line last week was TCU -12 but then dropped to TCU -10 and will probably be -7 on Sunday.

I think there will be a massive overreaction to the way TCU played vs. Kansas and therefore there will be plenty of value on TCU at single digits. I doubt it will be 20 degrees and windy in Austin like it was in Kansas.

Should be 60-70 degrees gametime. At least that is the forecast in Houston for that time.

TCU was pretty impressive last night, didn't realize they were that good.
Good luck, do they play tomorrow night? didn't see them on the schedule for tonight.

Texas will not beat TCU. Big 12 wants a team in the playoff for the money grab and Texas will spread their legs.
