    hate tub of goo kelly and notre dame, But they like t am are teams I can't get right.f.s.u. has been playing closer than expected against marginal talent. I expect the refs to keep the game close. (e.g.) stanford game so I am going to lay small wager on notre dame.

    2013 - 9-4
    2014 - 6-0 (so far)

    He is 27-5 predicting victories over the last three seasons. That is a pretty good record. He predicts a Notre Dame victory tonight.

So does FSU, though....that's what makes this game a battle of two teams and two coaches who have done an amazing job in turning their programs around. 10 years ago these teams had lost identities.

    not arguing that, just saying that quoting his record in picking irish games straight up is absolutely pointless..if there was some former fsu windbag coach on espn he would have a nice record picking them to win str8 up every week also... i really dont mind holtz except when he starts babbling and drooling all over himself when touting the irish, i hate homers that are incapable of being honest about their team..

    No doubt. Just like Mark May picking against Notre Dame every game is something that shouldn't be taken seriously....he's picked against them almost every game this year...even when they played Syracuse. I don't pay attention to picks most of the time, especially in a game like this because anyone who tells you they know what to expect is full of spit.

    And honestly they are a good team. They have come a long way since Weis/Willingham years. Those who completely dismiss them haven't watched them. As a ND fan of the last 30 years I know this is a tough game. As has been noted over and over if they limit turnovers they can play with FSU. I think it should be a good one.

    i dont watch them as much as i used to but seemed like it used to be a theme, holtz picking irish in big games (well every gm) and may going against him.

    i really have no idea far as this gm goes, mainly lean fsu cause everyone seems to love ND and that doesnt generally go real well especially when it a dog. so hard to really know what fsu is? i absolutely believe they coasting against these bottom feeders, if they were waxing these teams dont think i would necessarily think any more highly of them. at the same time it isnt easy to coast along then flip some switch they may or may not have, if they play the same uninspired fb they have been nd will beat them. tend to think we see a different fsu team in this gm but that just as speculative as irish backers hoping they all a sudden stop turning the ball over.. you right anyone who says they know is lying but that usually the case

    I was joking guys, chill out. I just looked up their past WL record. I doubt I could even find all his predictions anywhere. I assume he took the Irish in every game. Honestly, if Florida State is a spread offense, it may be a tough game for ND. They really struggled with North Carolina.
