Lane Kiffin Accepted The Wrong Job

Saban has found a new fall boy, someone to point the finger at after Bama losses, indirectly at first of course until things really start to go downhill. Kiffin sucks at playcalling IMO, USC looked putrid alot of the time, the only positive in this is Bama is historically conservative offensively, they get the best athletes and can win playing that way. One thing I know for sure is the fans in Bama are unlike any on the face of the earth and will have Kiffin's head on a platter when he starts to screw up. This is gonna get ugly trust me.

And yet it was Alabama's DEFENSE and special teams that were responsible for their losses last season. The offense scored 59 points, but the defense and specail teams gave up 76 in those two losses. So much for that theory.

Definately. Are you saying that 'Bama's losses to both Auburn and Oklahoma was the fault of the offense?

Who said anything about last year Im talking about how Kiffin sucks and Bama fans arnt gonna tolerate it. They were un Bama like with last coordinator being more wide open on offense, Bama is usually more smash mouth.

Saban knows that if he goes back to "Smash Mouth" football, he has no chance of winning another NC. None at all. His defenses are basically fat and slow, as proven last season. Good offensive teams can beat them. Saban has to get his defense much faster, and continue to open up his offense if he wants to keep up with the likes of Auburn, Oregon, and other teams who are going to no huddle, wide open offenses. Remember, 'Bama has no returning QB this season.

New qb equals more smash mouth game managing football. Ive seen the plays Kiffin used to call, they fit in line with waht Bama has done since the Bear was there, conservative more run oriented.

Then you have NOT seen many USC football games. In 2012, USC haD 2876 passing yards and 1877 rushing yards. In 2011, USC had 3160 yards passing and 1337 rushing yards. In 2010, Kiffin's first season, USC had 3374 passing yards and 1826 rushing yards. Alabama's offense never gained more than 2160 passing in any of those seasons. Now do you really want to continue this discussion? Do not talk about players or coaches that you know little about.

USC had 4 different Head Coaches last season, three of which actually coached the team. My poit is this. Kiffin runs a much more wide open offense than anyone Saban has had. Kiffin does wonders with QB's, and that is what Saban wants. Watch and learn.

The tide fan base wont put up with him long Ive seen his work more importantly I know the Tide fanbase. Same pro style offens Bama is used to running nothing wide open about it.
