Conferences vs "Power 5" Non-con Games

Let's look at the 5 "Power Conferences" and see what we think their final record against other "Power 5" non-con opponents will be. A lot of this will be "no brainer" stuff, but there still will be soem real good matchups.

ACC: Boston College vs USC. (L). Clemson at Georgia (L). Clemson vs South Carolina (L). Florida State vs Oklahoma State* (W). Florida State vs Florida (W). Louisville vs Kentucky (W). Syracuse vs Maryland (W). Syracuse vs Notre Dame* (L). Duke vs Kansas (W). Ga. Tech at Georgia (L). Miami at Nebraska (L). North Carolina at Notre Dame (L). Pitt vs Iowa (L). Virginia vs UCLA (L). Va. Tech at Ohio State (L).

I come up with a 5-10 record for the ACC. Several of those games can go either way, suh as Syracuse-Maryland, UNC at Notre Dame, and maybe Pitt vs Iowa.

Big 12: Iowa State at Iowa (L). Kansas at Duke (L). Kansas State vs Auburn (L). Oklahoma vs Tennessee (W). Oklahoma State vs Florida State* (L). TCU vs Minnesota (W). Texas vs UCLA* (L). Texas Tech vs Arkansas (W). West Virginia vs Alabama* (L). West Virginia at Maryland (L).

It looks like 3-7 for the Big 12. Games like K-State vs Auburn, TCU vs Minnesota, and T-Tech vs Akransas can be close and can go either way. K-State plus the points over Auburn at home may be a real good wager.

Big 10: Indiana at Missouri (L). Maryland vs West Virginia (W). Maryland at Syracuse (L). Michigan at Notre Dame (L). Michigan vs Utah (W). Michigan State at Oregon (L). Ohio State vs Virginia Tech (W). Rutgers at Washington State (L). Illinois at Washington (L). Iowa vs Iowa State (W). Iowa at Pitt (W). Minnestoa at TCU (L). Nebraska vs Miami (W). Northwestern vs California (W). Northwestern at Notre Dame (L), Purdue vs Notre Dame* (L). Wisconsin vs LSU* (L).

7-10 for the Big 10. Michigan at Notre Dame and Rutgers at azzu an be close and can go either way. Iowa and Nebraska also have tough games.

Pac 12: Cal at Northwesternn (L). Oregon vs Michigan State (W). Stanford at Notre Dame (L). Washington vs Illinois (W). Washington State vs Rutgers (W). Arizona State vs Notre Dame (W). UCLA vs Texas* (W). USC at Boston College (W). USC vs Notre Dame (W). Utah at Michigan (L)

7-3 for the Pac 12. Three of these games are against Notre Dame and all three of those games could go either way.

SEC: Florida at Florida State (L). Georgia vs Clemson (W). Georgia vs Georgia Tech (W). Kentucky at Louisville (L). Missouri vs Indiana (W). South Carolina at Clemson (W). Tennessee at Oklahoma (L). Alabama vs West Virginia* (W). Arkansas at Texas Tech (L). Auburn at Kansas State (W). LSU vs Wisconsin* (W).

7-4 for the SEC who does not play many tough non-con games, considering they have a 14 team conference and an 8 game conference schedule. There are several games that could end up in upsets.

So it appears that the SEC and the Pac 12 are clearly the leaders here, followed by the Big 10 and then the Big 12 and ACC kind of bunched at the rear. There will undoubtedly be upsets here. I figure perhaps as many as 10. Who knows. Comments?
