    I really hate to say this as an original Michigander rooting for MSU, but I just don't see how the Spartans can slow the Cardinal down enough in this matchup. It was already a questionable situation for MSU before the Bullough suspension, but losing the QB of your defense that makes all the play calls and adjustments is an absolutely crushing blow to this defense.

    Combined with the fact that Stanford is in its fourth (or fifth, can't remember) straight BCS bowl game and this is MSU's first Rose Bowl appearance since '88, and I have a feeling the Spartans are going to get caught up in the "happy to be here" mentality against a team that is just as physical and even more athletic at all of their strongest positions. The Big Ten has dropped nine of the last 10 Rose Bowls for a reason. Spartans have had a tremendous season and should be recognized for it, but I don't see them winning this game aside from some fluke turnover/injury circumstances. It's an ugly number on the ML now (vs. a week or so ago), but I still think it's a winner if you're looking for a safe ML to parlay into other bets or just take as a conservative bet SU.

    Line up to -7/-270 now. Wow. Never thought I'd see it get this high.

    Wisconsin ML is the other best bet of the day. I'd also consider parlaying Georgia/LSU/Stanford together. UNLV worth a small play as well.

    Why give the -120? Why not just give the 1 1/2 points? Do you really think that Wisky, or any team for that matter, will win the game by 1 point? It seems like a waste of 10% to me.

    Nc back in the game! Just in time for best part of NCAA hoops baby!! Far as these bowl gms hell if I know.. I hit wiscy 1st half ( Lucky botched extra point) and went scary team total 2nd half and cashed. (Scary is scary in 2nd half this yr).. Far as spArty gm I think it hard not to take them with 7 points but at same time don't love the play:. The total is sick low, was kinda looking at trees team total under 10.5 1st half at +120 but just small.. Then I guess Ucf or nothing late.. Happy new year brother and welcome back!!

    Meh, I don't even care I lost both bets today and was dead wrong on the Rose Bowl. Great to see the Spartans celebrating like that. They've defied logic all season long -- was stupid for doubting them one last time, even without Mad Max in the middle.

    Strong beat up on a bunch of bad teams in the Big East.

    He is probably a good coach but I don't think he is a homerun hire like some people would have you believe.

    He's talked quite a bit about making MSU a destination rather than a stepping stone, and unlike a lot of coaches these days, he seems to be a man of his word.

    Plus, deep down, I think he likes doing something at MSU that even Saban admitted he couldn't -- compete with Michigan and Ohio State for recruits and notoriety. Dantonio owns the state right now, and they're returning about 2/3rds of their lineup next year as an incentive.
