    Friday- min. Gophers -4

Lets break this game down. BIG 10 vs. ACC here, with both teams .500 in conf. play. Cuse comes in off a strong finish to the yr. as they notched bowl eligibility in the final game. Minnesota comes off 2 tough battles losing honorably to WISC. and MSU but having a revitalized season with 8 wins.
When looking at both teams their defenses stand out and both are very physical. So you got 2 teams that are progressing which one deserves the edge when the lights come on in Texas?
Offensively CUSE runs a read-option dink dunk passing attack on offense. For the most part their run game is their best weapon although QB Hunt has shown sum improvement in his decision making. MIN. defensively has gotten stronger with time and most importantly has an A-gap force in Hageman that has opened up sacks and pressure in./out.. Their back unit is solid and just one yr. ago forced 4 TOs against CUSE.
MINN. offensively relies on a power rungame with Cobb avg. 5 yds a pop. Like CUSE theyve struggled passing but do have young talent at the position capable of stretching the field. CUSE defense relies on speed n pressure but also r solid up front against the run.
While CUSE and their QB play improved down the stretch a long layoff will make it tough for Hunt to regain rythm. Play will be physical early and both O'S will try to win the war at the line of scrimmage. Ultimately though MINN. has three key edges here, they beat the same team las yr. , they have been here before las yr. against TT, and theyve faced undoubtedly stronger foes in the B10.
CUSE will miss leader of their D in S Eskuridge and eventually will lead to breakdowns in the back off play-action. I see Hunt struggling to convert 1st downs against a good secondary n pass rush. MINN. can wear SYR. down with their size n may pull away late. MINN. -4 is the play here they win 9 and cap off a solid yr.. 4-6 UNITS. GL
