why all the bowling green love?

what the fukk is going on here fukkers?

do posters realize that BG played absolutely no one?

There is a reason why the kids at Pitt are at Pitt, and the kids at BG are at fukking BG

There is a big drop off in athleticism and size from a major coference like the ACC to the shit hole the MAC is.
Pitt defense is stacked. BG will be outmatched and outclassed. Don't be a sucker suckers.

    Pitt moneyline for me 500/1125

Look at which teams Pittsburgh beat to become bowl eligible. Embarrassing.

Well, Navy doesn't offer a single athletic scholarship.

And the odds are not a single kid at Navy was recruited by Pitt.

Yet, Navy beat Pitt by 3.

So, I'm pretty sure don't have to worry about Pitt relying on their superior talent---- They don't have any.

And flippin Indiana beat BG 41-10. This is the MAC we're talking about, right?

beat a pretty decent Duke team and a Notre Dame team with great lines on both sides of the ball. what's embarrassing about that?

I mean I could care less about Pitt, not trying to defend them at all, just so happens they're on the board today and in a great spot. Hopefully you guys that are on Bowling Green take it easy and don't slam your bankroll on it.

    GL to all

Yeah, it is a MAC team--- playing a 6-6 ACC team that was lucky to be bowl eligible.

"Flippin Indiana"--- also smacked around a decent (not great) Penn State team.

Pitt lost 4 of their last 6. The beat Syracuse 17-16, and needed some fluky shit to beat Notre Dame at home.

    Pitt's rush O is 112th out of 125 teams.

The scoring defense is ranked 70th.

This seems like the same conversation we had about Oregon State, who had lost 5 in a row, but handled Boise with no problems.

The Naval Academy offers ALL students a "scholarship". All they do is take an oath and a commitment to serve 4 years of their life to their country. The Service Academies also take very bright and coachable kids. Their is a reason they have won National Championships and have Heisman Trophy winners. Gauging a service academy against any normal college is foolish!

    Those are entirely different situations.

For one, Oregon State has Sean Mannion. Pitt has Tom Savage. That's like comparing an automobile to a fuking Vespa.

But I think the biggest difference is the teams Oregon State lost to---USC/Arizona State/Oregon/Stanford/Washington--

    Pitt's losses--- Navy/Georgia Tech/UNC, and Miami, Fl

    Just a smallllllllll difference.

Bowling Green 3-1 against teams that are playing in bowl games.

Pitt is 3-6 against teams playing in bowl games.

Exactly. The MAC is one pathetic circle jerk. 3 mediocre bowl teams amassing wins by beating up on truly hapless teams. Does it get any worse than Eastern Michigan and Miami of Ohio?
