    Any reason they didn't throw a 5-10 yard pass to the sidelines?? I know they didn't have a timeout but it was 3rd down....Just run a rollout and throw it away if nothing there

    Nahh too risky for the moderate reward. Chances of a sack, pick or failure to get out of bounds is too high.

    Just run an out to the sticks....rollout right and throw it where either the receiver catches it or it goes out of bounds

    Difference between a 40 yard field goal and 48 yarder is massive IMO in that spot

    but... 2 seconds is an eternity to be ready in case you get instant heat and know where to toss the ball in the ground towards the area where a route is drawn up for the play and hope that the WR is running the correct route

    Such a stretch to blame that on the QB....he was hit from behind too in prob less than 2 seconds.....The D End literally went right around the tackle and hit the QB immediately

    O-lineman's fault there 90%.....I guess 10% on QB but good chance they call intentional grounding, the receivers probably weren't even out of their route breaks when he got hit
