Wisconsin (3units) Speed Kills!! Capping over faster team wins…One Theme for this game Alllllllllllllllll Over the internet forums and media….Speed Kills…speed kills …SPEED….IT KILLS!! Blah blah blah…Ill say This, Speed Kills when capping a game!!! Seen this movie before with Utah and BYU…don’t GET ME WRONG Miami is the quicker team..but speed alone don’t win games…Theres also the matter of the trenches…Offensive and defensive lines both Belong To the Badgers in advantage…On the Miami team they will be weak inside that o line with a injury, canes without starting left tackle and All-ACC First Team selection Jason Fox (knee surgery).… Badgers are very good at getting to the quarterback (32 sacks) and Miami’s QB who I really like is streaky..sometimes awful sometimes Brilliant.. sometimes can get rattled…Badgers also have a Huge good offensive line which could spell a lot of trouble for Miami and really dictate who wins this game.. Miami has at times this years have let opposing passers sit comfortably and untouched for long stretches of time..wisky’s O line has some studs in
All-Big Ten selections John Moffitt and Gabe Carimi who anchor the Badgers veteran offensive line…Wisconsin hasn't been blown out all year… The Ohio state score looked like one, but UW outgained them 380-175.…Wisconsin rush offense is 14th in the country; Miami's is 62nd. Wisconsin rush defense is 8th, Miami is 28th. …Wisconsin rush offense is 14th in the country; Miami's is 62nd. Wisconsin rush defense is 8th, Miami is 28th….Miami's passing game, based on yardage, is ranked 27th, right between Michigan State at 26th and Northwestern at 29th. Miami's pass defense is ranked 38th, two slots behind Hawaii, and two slots in front of Purdue....Ill take my chances with the solid O and D line of wisky vs Speed Kills.
Miami quarterback Jacory Harris has been hampered by a painful right thumb on his throwing hand... The injury occurred in a Nov. 14 loss at North Carolina, a game in which Harris threw four interceptions. He played through the pain in two convincing wins to end the season, 34-16 over Duke and 31-10 over South Florida. But the thumb is still bothering him. "I thought my finger was just going to heal," Harris told the Miami Herald at the start of bowl practice. "But maybe something else is wrong with it. It's still the same as it was for the North Carolina game. I've gotten used to it" It won’t keep him out. The more costly injury for the ‘Canes is the loss of starting left offensive tackle Jason Fox. The team’s MVP and projected first-day draft pick, Fox will miss the bowl game after having knee surgery. Junior Orlando Franklin will replace Fox on an offensive line that struggled to protect Harris this season. Miami is 91st in the nation in sacks allowed. Wisconsin is 21st in the nation in sacks recorded. Wisconsin has no notable injuries
