Navy @ San Jose State
If you like a contrast in teams...you got one tonight. One team relies on the run and the other on the pass. One quarterback has rushed for 884 yards and 19 touchdowns, the other has passed for 3,202 yards and 22 TDs.
Navy will take it's #4th rated rushing attack against San Jose's #103rd ranked rush defense. San Jose State will counter with the 9th best passing attack against Navy's 33rd rated pass defense.

I think this one comes down to the wire. I'd take Navy + 2 1/2 if I was betting. I just logged in to check what + 3 would cost and # just dropped to + 1 1/2. Might now consider Navy ML @ +110.
SDST is a woeful team, but they did shut down the Navy attack last year. They only allowed 144 yards last year to NAVY, handing them THE FEWEST OFFENSIVE OUTPUT IN 10 YEARS!. You can bet they've watched that tape a few times, as has Navy.
Navy hasn't fared well in long trips to West Coast. (0-4) last 3 , including bowls.
SJST has to beat Navy if they want a chance at a bowl. They aren't beating Fresno.
I'm going to pass on this game. I can't identify a strong edge. I need a break. My Saturday card is complete and I feel strong about my positions. Been waiting to watch a dvd that's been setting on my sub for over a week. Lean Navy. Good luck with your plays.

You may be right Trip as the Midshipmen have owned teams from the MWC over the years going 16-5.
Last season, San Jose State held Navy to 70 yards rushing and won 12-0. The year before that they won 27-24.
One surprise to me because of style of play is time of possession where Navy averages 30:40 and SJ St at 30:24. I would have thought the Seaboys would have had a nice advantage.
Take the home teams. Although David fales isnt as spectacular as last years,hes still a nfl prospect. Looks for Fales to make some big plays, as this is the only opportunity they get to be bowl eligible (not beating fresno)
Mr. V....think I would have some caution just betting on San Jose because they are the home team. Their last eight home games against teams with a winning record (Navy 6-4) they have only covered two. Just some info for what its worth.
Navy losses: W. Kentucky 7-19....Duke 7-35.....Toledo 44-45 (2OT).....Notre Dame 34-38.
SJSu has not looked good as of late, I'm not too sure what happened to their squad from a year ago other than the coach leaving.
Take Navy at Heritage with the get out at halftime bet, hopefully they will be up 35-7 or something

SJSU couldnt stop Minneosta qb. I believed he ran 4 td in. However, they were able to stop wyoming qb.
You cant conpare a scrambling QB vs an option QB
Just for informational purposes...San Jose in 103rd nationally against the run.
Last week in their 38-16 loss to Nevada...they were outrushed 311 to 58 yards.
stopping the wyoming qb in a zone read doesnt mean much if you are letting the running back get 13.8 yards a carry.

It is Navy or nothing, as San Jose State cannot stop the running game, and if they cannot stop the running game, they cannot control the clock, and what that amounts to is a loss for San Jose State.

If I really,really like a play, I will start a thread. When I do, I don't get a ton of hits or discussion happening. Takes a bunch of time. Easier to pop in and out of threads. The wonderful thing about good/solid/knowledgable CFB people who actually care about winning games is information. I could care less about a play I make and someone getting their panties in a wad. Hell, I lose....I'm sure as hell not paying them and if I win....I ain't going to see a penny from those dirtbags.
Veteran guys here know who to lean on for a play....most others are just throwing crap against the wall. Point is I guess if you are a serious player......water off a duck with amateur clowns criticism.

I think i will go with san jose st & under -2 & u61 navy will run run run & san jose st will deff try to get there running game in gear, i just like the home team in this situation. If they get there running game going san jose st will win a close 1. I like -2 more than the under. Its just a long trip & i hope there just tired & have had a long season, yes there looking for revenge but that could work against them.
