GT is 3-1 ATS this year.....and GT blew the game last year against Miami. This is a no-play for me....but I would get as many points as possible and play GT.

Yes I know I am a homer but Miami is going to crush GT. Anything under 7 is pound city. Miami typically owns GT. The last time they played in Miami is was a rout. Last year was Miami's worst defense ever and as a 10 point dog they won straight up @ GT.

Miami needed a last second TD to tie GT last year and then won in OT so while they have beat Tech the last 3 times out, it hasn't always been pretty. Last year was weird with UM scoring the first 19 points; then GT scoring 36 in a row before UM scored the final 23 points of the game.

Playing GT is all about the front 7 and Va Tech had the horses to shut them down. Miami's defensive front 7 is young but should be able to do the job (especially Perryman) so that the offense can score just enough for the win. This game won't be a blowout, but if I had to bet I would take Miami. I would like it better at -3.

    2011: Miami 24-7 @ Miami
    2010: Miami 35-10 @ GT
    2009: Miami 33-17 @ Miami

2008 was the last time Miami lost to GT. Even in a historically bad year for Miami LY (at least defensively) Miami beat GT.
