    Mountaineers starting Childress

The other two QB's they have tried since Gino are nothing to build a program around. Childress is a big strong kid with an arm and a good head on his shoulders. Maryland has a few talented offensive players but nothing to put fear into ya. WV has an improved defense.(not very hard to do!)This WV team still has raw speed and can get down field in a hurry. Childress won't miss open receivers like the other two have done a bunch. WV head coach was smart enough not to feed the kid to the fire early in the season by starting him against the Sooners and bring him in with a practice team called Georgia St. WV is a good value this week coming off of less then stellar performance in the William & Mary game to start the season and a loss to the Sooners. Taking the Points moving up as we speak its as high as 6'

Childress looked bad last week, but I only watched the 1H.

W.V. very young on the defensive side, they are starting a bunch of freshman and sophomores...They are allowing 13 ppg so far this year,Maryland offense will test them

Apparently both of Maryland's starting corners will be out injured. Dexter McDougle had shoulder surgery on Monday and is out for the season, and Jeremiah Johnson fractured his toe in the season opener and will be out for another 5-6 weeks or so.

On the whole, I'm not sure what to think of this game, though.

That's a blow to the Terps defense, still think the Terps going to put up a bunch of points

C.J. Brown is a true dual threat, though more of a runner. As a Clemson fan, I promise you that he can play. Terps should score some points.

Losing the corners could be a big blow to the Terps' D, but Goins and Likely (who will be the starters at corner vs WVU) actually started against pass-happy ODU and did okay. Goins also started some last year because of injuries. The question is whether the Terps have the depth to be competent in nickel and dime packages, which they will need against WVU. One of the guys who will be seeing action in those packages is the guy who gave up the late 75-yard TD pass last week.

Hope its the usual first start jitters. The line is a problem for WV. If they had trouble opening holes on GSU a team that was run over by two other teams for 250 yards plus. Risking a unit on this one.
