CBSsports.com is pretty much worthless nowadays for handicapping.........

It used to be my favorite site for gathering info on college teams for upcoming matchups. Each team page would have three distinct sections: Strategy and Personnel, Inside Slant, and Notes and Quotes. It provided a nice balance of stats, strengths and weaknesses, injury updates, as well as the overall mood of the team during the practice week. Now the team pages are just a big clusterfuck of useless links, most of which have to do with college football in general, not the particular team. Does anybody know of any other sites, not necessarily handicapping specific, that are of great use for researching teams/matchups? I currently use Collegefootballnews.com, but wouldn't mind having others in my arsenal.

sportsillustrated.com has team pages. Scroll down for stats recap. There is a tiny gif that says "more team stats". There you will be able to find in depth stats on each player. Hope this helps.
