i'm new here, was looking for some good college football talk. all i found is ass-grab & verbal abortion on 'players talk', and a mess in the college football forum. in all seriousness is the avg age 19 for this forum? this is embarrassing. 'players talk' section is basically facebook for retarded teenagers. i honestly don't understand how half of them figure out how to log in.
It wasn't always like this.
I know it is tough to believe, but I use to come here Wednesday/Fridays during college football season. I didn't even post, I just read a lot of really good info that posters shared.
Now-- well, things just are not the same.
there are some really amazing posters here, and there are many more like that during the actual college season. there were some guys here last year who were very knowledgable who seemed to be hitting 63%+ on a large number of researched picks.
it is very frustrating that it has come to this. it just needs two or three moderators and some authority given to them.
Gojets: No problem with you, but you need to be a little bit more honest with the rhetoric. There are very, very, few that can win consistently.

This is why I don't really post anymore. A lot of haters out here. The only thing people should be wording about is how to help each other make money. I was red got through the bowls last year, and had others post hating comments. I'll continue to post as we get closer to kickoff, but all the negative comments grow tiring

I think my post came off wrong. I was agreeing with your post. I feel the same way about negative posts. What I don't get is why can't we all give solid information, some inside stuff to help other cappers come to a common goal? But the thing is, and this is what has happened to what was a very good forum, is you have a few posters such as Killer_Demo and Night Tripper among others, whose sole purpose on the forum is to antagonize others, so when the moderators of the forum do not care about the quality of the forum or its posters, the quality posters from the forum including myself went elsewhere, so now the forum is just a kiddie playground for the antagonists, and this is why I refuse to breakdown games any more, or share any type of information that might help others.

This thread is very difficult to read. It is one thing to think of yourself as a better capper than records show, be passionate about an argument just because of complete bias, or even just constantly post things that are completely ignorant. None of these things however are contributing to the demise of this board. What is however is the childish ,demeaning ,vulgar , low educated vocabulary that is being posted on this forum and clearly visible in this thread. No serious capper is going to take advice from someone who throw around slang words for the male genitalia and uses phrases that are completely derogatory towards homosexuals. Arguments and debates are good just clean up the language.

Good cappers are more analytical than they are emotional. They just don't change their approach. They know what works, and they stick at it, and you're not going to find them losing their lids because someone dared to question their pick.
I think that we should run Killer_Demo. Once again he has tried to lie about a spread he allegedly took. He claims to have given Fresno State -8 1/2 against Rutgers, when the line has been at 10 for several weeks now. If enough of us go to the mods, they will run him. It is liars like him that chase the good posters out of here. Anyone agree?
