    BYU -17 over Tulane
People may very well say this is a bad spot for the BYU Cougars. They are coming off a big win last week and on top of that they have Florida St. on deck for next week. Well those angles are some what true. But teams like BYU don't have room to have a look ahead factor like teams like Florida and LSU. This team have to beat down opponents simply week in and week out, also Tulane is a very weak team, and there offense is struggling very bad. Also there passing game and running game is not working, they only rushed for 39 yards last week. I also watched the game and it was very painful to watch a D1 team look so bad on offense. Also on the defensive side of the ball there tackling was awful. Tulsa was driving the field way to easy. Tulane defense gave up over 200 passing yards and 200 rushing yards, thats over 400 yards of offense allowed. With a very strong BYU team I dont see Tulane stopping them on offense and I also dont see Tulane scoring no more than 14 points. This will be a blowout and I'm not buying into the look ahead factor against a team like Tulane.

    41-14 BYU

I can't really argue against the BYU write-up. Tulane did look terrible. BYU has a good all around team regardless of what happened to Bradford, and it should be a romp. Tulane had all kinds of mis-communication going on, especially on offense. GL this week Z

    Tulsa -17.5 over New Mexico
This is one of those games that stuck out to me. Last week New Mexico gave up 41 whopping points to Texas A&M. They also gave up a whopping 606 total yards to this Texas A&M team. They also gave up 361 yards in the air, to this team. Now you have ask yourself, is Texas A&M passing game better than Tulsa ? Hell no! I expect Tulsa to move up and down the field Saturday with ease, just like Texas A&M did. Last year Tulsa won this game 56-14 and I see this game as a repeat. Also New Mexico is another team that is struggling to run the ball. They ran for only 21 yards last week and in order to win football games or even stay close you have to have some type of running game, and this team struggled big time last week in that spot.

    50- 17 Tulsa

South Carolina and Georgia UNDER 38
This is another game I love ! To me South Carolina has the best defense in the SEC outside of Alabama. There defense is just nasty. There front 4 is just nasty. There fast up front and there secondary is solid. On the offensive side of the ball for South Carolina they are struggling. Spurrier said they want to run the ball this year because he feel that is there strength instead of putting the ball in the air with Garcia. But they only produced 7 points and missed a couple of field goals. They won the game Saturday night soley off of Defense. There defense only allowed 74 yards passing and 59 yards rushing. Now Georgia on the other hand have a offense that should be very explosive, but SEC key games like this dont work like that. This will be a defensive showdown. Georgia only rushed for 95 yards last week and that was not impressive against a BIG 12 defense. I see this staying under !

    21-10 Georgia

    love the UGA under
past 2 yrs combined I dont think this game has gone over 38.
2 struggling offenses and 2 solid defenses.
    10-7 UGA
only concern of mine is Bobo trying to make a statement with his playcalling in this one since he dropped the ball last week.
but like Pags said Bobo might not have the confidence in Cox to make the plays and is trying to keep it simple for him.

Also Mike these 2 coaches know that this is the 1st SEC matchup for both teams and they know that the defenses wins these games. They will try to run the ball to open the pass game. I think both teams play it safe because of the QB play. Conservative play calling is what I'm looking at.

Bob Toledo Tulane coach said the only way they'll beat BYU if they can get BYU players to party on Bourbon Street.

I actually like all 3 plays. Alot will be made of BYU being in a look ahead spot and this has been a proven factor in the past but isn't always a guarantee obviously. They are soundly better and proved last week that they aren't your typical just scor score score BYU team of years past. They played hardnose physical football with Oklahoma.

I'm already on South Carolina and since I am fully aware of their offensive struggles I am on them because I think it's another low scoring affair so absolutely agree here as well.

Goodluck with the games they look promising.

yea im with you on that UNDER in the UGA and Sout Carolina game.... great looking play there.

But what I am really looking to is LSU dismantling Vandy... silence all of this LSU is waaaaaay too overrated type talk that is going around. Not that beating up on Vandy is anything spectacular BUT STILL... there are way tooo many people who think Vandy can win outright....and I see that as impossible on this home opener.

tland22 people is looking at that Washington game and saying LSU is overrated. And I cant bash them for that. But we know what kind of offense LSU run and we know that Les Miles played that game safe by just running the ball up the gut and not passing. We know he did'nt want to put to much out there just yet. Thats how Les Miles is a very careful coach when it come to gameplanning.

Good deal, I used to play 1Q when I first started betting but I was always drawn to taking the points. I now know that the bookmakers realize this and capitalize on it........................

BYU and Tulsa are both strong public plays with a lot of line move resistance. I would/will steer clear for that reason alone.
