The Louisville, Rutgers matchup tonight in Piscataway, NJ, will weigh heavy in the BCS, but it won't light up the scoreboard making the under the right play.

Louisville entered the national title picture with a 44-34 shootout win over West Virginia last week, but we expect a different type of game here.

We felt all along that the Mountaineers' defense was rather suspect and that the Cardinals were very capable of putting up good numbers against them. That is not the case here however as Rutgers has allowed just seven touchdowns in eight games while allowing a microscopic 9.1 points per game.

Granted, the Scarlet Knights have not faced an offense as potent as Louisville yet, but they did shut down probably the second-best passing offense in the Big East when they limted Pittsburgh to just 10 points on the road two weeks ago. While it is a virtual certainty that the Cardinals will exceed that number, we still feel they will take longer than usual to score on this defense.

Besides that great defense, Rutgers has a one-dimensional rushing offense that is averaging 193.4 yards per game on the ground on 4.7 yards per carry. Thus, it should come as no surprise that the under is now 6-1 in all lined Knights games this season, and the lone over only surpassed the total by a half-point.

Also you can bet that the Rutgers game plan will be to eat up as much clock as possible with its good running game in an effort to keep the Louisville offense on the sidelines.
