    Just took this 5 teamer for fun. The reasoning behind taking all dogs in this parlay is that for the exception of Ohio (who i took because of last weeks weak performance), the lines for the other games have been moving against these dogs indicating that the books feel good about the public jumping all over the favorites. Anyways wish me luck.

    Thanks. And yes St Louis is probably the clear favorite but while that may be the case the line went from 14.5 in the opener to 11.5 as I type this. This is with 70% of the public on St Louis! But we'll see.

    Yeah I glanced over the link you gave me and there numbers are different than what I'm seeing but I'm going to keep going with the consensus site I frequent because I feel it is accurate. As we speak, on the site i look at, the public is 71% on St Louis.

    Haha, no, that is Murray Rothbard. He's my favorite economist, historian, political theorist, and just overall intellectual.     murray...if u haven't already (and even if u have)...u gotta watch the 13-part pbs series "Free to Choose" (done a few decades ago)...it's the single best "packaging" of the libertarian perspective (the true version...not the big-govt/big-bus collusive crap that faux-libertarians impose on everyone...Adam Smith is turning over in his grave as we speak)

    Isn't that with Milton Friedman? Or is it Thomas Sowell? Either way I've heard of it but not sure if I have watched it. I love both Friedman and Sowell on economics but I wish they were more principled like Rothbard.

    it was uncle Milty...after each 30-minute presentation, there was a brilliant 30-minute discussion...i used it all the time in my Hist of EcThot classes as a way of hitting all the fields that econ applies to

    Yeah, those presentations and discussions were so awesome. Milton Friedman was so good when it came to elucidating theory and applying it to different cases. Again, I just wish he was more principled on his stances.

    So you teach econ or just history of econ thought? Whats your background in?

    Congrats Murray!! I had NIU at 2.5 & -4.5, and the over at 51. I was sweating it out to a MAC game (they always seem to go haywire). We all win! Let's take this momentum into the weekend!
