I think that BYU and Idaho had to work on this together, otherwise I dont see how can you fumble that catch... just let it roll and take a knee. But? Why did BYU took that FG with 1 minute left. It is so confusing, non-sense....

byu didn't kick a field goal in the 3rd, but they did in the 4th rather than go for it again
punting made no sense, but the BYU returner deliberately muffed it.
and then to remove any doubt, Idaho kicks a field goal when down by 42 points.
BYU wasn't able to kneel it out because the review determined that the runner was short of the first, so they were faced with 4th and goal.
