    11/4 Opinions On This Teaser

2-0 on College Teasers This YTD +20 Units

Again I am gonna ride my favorite pick:

    OSU/Illinois Under 62

The Buckeyes obviously score less in away games, but their defense is now the best at points allowed in the nation. I am projecting a 41-7 victory here. Illinois' cheap offense will get shut down and the Buck's offense will slow down a little bit.

    Ball St/Michigan Under 62.5

Michigan will shut out this awful MAC school and at most barely cover the spread of 33.5. There defense is too stellar to allow any points in this game. Love this one like the one above.

    Clemson -2

Clemson will roll over Maryland. I know I know Maryland has looked good as of late. You're right, but they are a completely different team at home then away. And, Clemson got railed last week, but Clemson is unstopable at home this year. Look for a blowout.

    Miami Fl +16.5

Miami is another Home ACC Dog. The doggies this year at home in ACC play are cleaning up. ACC Home teams have a huge advantage. Plus, Va Tech is being overvalued after their big victory last week. I can't say that the U of M will win but it will be within 7 points either way.

Again here are some other plays that I might substitute:

    Tenn +17
    Texas -3
    Oregon pk

Let me know if you have any ideas...

I am looking to put together a nice college teaser as well this weekend.

In those 2 games you have under those look pretty good, what about playing the dog in those too? Ball State +47 vs Michigan and Illinois +39.5 vs OSU. Don't think either of them will score that many even if they shut them out. Tresell will let the air out of the ball with a huge lead. Neither of these 2 teams need to impress pollers/computers whatever with ridiculous blowouts since they are already 1-2 in the BCS and we all know only one game will really matter shortly.

Also UCLA +30 vs Cal looks pretty sweet. Oklahoma St. +30 vs Texas maybe as well. They just toasted Nebraska.

I dunno on the Ducks..I don't even trust them vs. UW who is our biggest arch rival outside of the Civil War...almost tempting to do the other side at +26.5 instead.

Florida -1 over Vandy? Although Vandy did scare them bad last year in double OT.

    ChrisV,

    The Unders:

I like both OSU and Michigan in the spreads to be honest and I never go against myself in the original spreads with a teaser choice. I like the unders because I think Ball St and Illinois will score a combined 7 maybe 10 points. OSU will most likely put up between 30-40 and Michigan maybe a little less. I don't see the first two losing at all. And, I watch almost every Big Ten game.

Also, I really like these ACC matchups taking the home teams. ACC home teams have done everyone well this year and it should continue.

PAC 10 squads scare me because these teams score like a muddaphuka and their defenses are kind of weak. Oregon is amazing at home that's why I like it. Florida should be fine, but anything can happen on the road. Don't get me wrong you will probably be alright with your choices I just like to minimize the chances of these college kids fvcking me over.

Your plays look solid bro.. Especially the Under 62 in the Ohio State game.. that looks like a free spot..

I think this total is good

    SDST/WY Under 52.5

SDST will score no more than 7 in that game..

Also no way BYU loses to Colorado state.. John Beck is a stud and should be a Heisman candidate IMO...

Kent State won't lose to Buffalo.. Buffalo is horrible..

Definitely keep the OSU pick. They're your boys so even if they let you down you won't get too upset with them. Obviously it should be good, anyway.

The Michigan under is the best play you've selected. Now that I've said that, I'm sure the Wolverines will score 91 points.

As for Clemson, I'm concerned about both the mental and physical health of this team. I would think there has to be something better than counting on Clemson to win by a field goal (which they are not capable of kicking) or better. That -2 for Clemson might as well be a -3.5 with the way they kick.

Miami needs to be avoided at all costs. In a wager such as this you're looking for teams that are consistent. Both Miami and VaTech are incredibly volatile teams with ultra athletes that can severely skew the outcome of any given game.

In my next post I provide some alternatives...

    I like Northwestern/Iowa to go over 28.5
I like Boston College/Wake Forest to go over 25.5
    I like Georgia/Kentucky to stay under 63.5
    I like Florida/Vanderbilt to go over 29.5
I like Hawaii/Utah St. to go over 53.5 (weather permitting)
I like Penn St/Wisconsin to stay under 53.5
I like West Virginia/Louisville to go over 42.5

    Of your alternatives:
Tennessee + 17 shouldn't lose but may get an unlucky push.
Dispose of the other two, especially Texas.

Nice thanks for the opinions guys...

At first glance the Northwestern/Iowa Over, Kent St., and BC/Wake Over look great.

BYU -2.5 is an easy one as well... BYU will by at least 3 even if they turnover the ball 5 times...

    FLA/Vandy Total Under 57.5

After looking at this game, I kind of like the Under 57.5 isetcap. Florida hasn't been in one game that has gone over that total all year. Especially Away games where the total has been 41,35, and 44. With Florida only giving up 12.2 a game I like my chances. You know Florida though, but I kind of like this pick.

Probably should work but Vandy has no defense and Florida wants to be an offensive powerhouse. The Gators might piss you off it they figure things out and make this their breakout week. They certainly have the weapons to light up Vandy's defense. Pair that with the fact that Vandy occasionally scores against Florida and I'd rather look at an over that requires nothing more than a 20-10 final. You should also take into account how important it is for Florida to look very impressive to the voters.
