If they beat Alabama this week, they are in the SEC Championship Game. And they have 1 loss, not 2.

Bowls always love ND. Polls always hate them. Gonna be tough for ND. Not saying ND is the best team, but for the time being the should be #1. Simple as that.

You think WV has any chance at a BCS game?

When are you going to weigh in on the Big Least??? You still think they're better than the MAC?

They'll need Florida State to lose too. Even then it would be tough to jump a one loss Oregon if they win the Pac 12 title.

"my +8000 looks pretty good" no it doesnt. you could start hedging every game and they could go undefeated and STILL not get a chance at the BCS title game. you could also parlay hedge all the crazy things you need to happen and at that point it would be about even money, in reality its about 200-1 they hoist the crystal

100,000 /1 odds would not be good.

They wil have no shot at playing and would be at least a 2 touchdown dog to at least 10 teams

Georgia bought out of the Louisville game to play Boise State. Typical SEC

We've had plenty of conversations. My favorite was when you declared a play a lock but recommended buying a few points. Of course the play lost anyway

Even if by some miracle Louisville were to make it to the title game with such a weak SOS, then they would still have to beat a team that would be favorite by at least two touchdowns. Your bet almost has no chance of hitting. Sorry, the odds are greatly against you. In my opinion, it is not a good bet.

    No chance for WVU.

They should be #1??? Based on what??? Alabama, Kansas State have played better schedules.

I would feel very comfortable betting a grand on Bama-21 against Louisville. I know it has no relevance since there is no chance they play, but just saying.

Even if every team left lost 2 games and Boise St was left with only 1 loss. Boise St would be placed ahead of Louisville.

Louisville has no chance because Notre Dame is running the table either way along with Alabama

It was a Universal that ND had the toughest schedule going into the season...And yes that matters. We rank teams before the season based on expectations. Those rankings give huge advantages to those ranked in the top 5, especially top 2 or 3. So...what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Not to mention when you beat a pretty good team, a top 25ish team, it can send them in a tailspin that causes them to lose another couple.

Irish played Ok on the road at night.... MSU on the road - sprinkled in with teams like Stanford, Michigan, BYU and Miami

Not Arkansas, West Kentucky, and Florida Atlantic.

Rank ND's opponents and have Bama rank theirs, have them play against each other and ND's opponent's go 8-0.

That's not enough. Big 12 or PAC champ would have to lose twice for UL to get a shot to lose by 40 against Alabama.
