    Glad we were both on this in your post Sunday night when the openers came out Kid. We already have a little value -10 vs -11. GL I saw value here as well. I fear a defensive game, but gotta ride with Oklahoma for the reasons I mentioned in your previous thread.

    Well it is nice to be locked in at a line better than the current, it does not mean anything if your bet is placed with a line with a -EV.

    i understand the making money aspect but there are certain people who go into every notre dame thread and say they suck every game. i dont think i will be surprised by the outcome at all.

    I wasnt referring to you, like i said i understand making money. I was talking about the usc fan and landers. My.02 is it could go either way. But im not going to tout nd because my clear favoritism towards them, homers cant make good judgement calls when betting their teams games.

    Navy throws 3 passes a game. And every team you listed---prefer rushing the football, so why would their passing numbers be up?

    ND hasn't allowed a rushing td this year.

    And, I know this is tough for OU fans, but Landry Jones folds up when he gets pressured.

    If ND gets pressure, this game is going to be close.

    BetIslands is sitting at +13 Notre Dame and has been for the past few hours.

    With the free half pt, you could have had +13.5 -108 before 10PM.

    If you wanted to buy to higher numbers, it would have been +14 -118 and +14.5 -128, based on your style of play.

    They are and were just begging for Notre Dame money.

    I know it may be a sucker bet but I took Notre Dame at +14 -118 earlier tonight at BetIslands. Usually don't buy to +14 but if they want to give me a free point(the free half pt plus a line a half pt higher than the market-except Bovada), I don't mind spending 10 cents to get what amounts to +1.5 pts.

    Hell, if you play +14 at the Greek right now, it would cost you -150.

    I think this will be like the Kansas St/OU game and will be close to the end. OU is a team that rolls inferior teams and struggles against real competition. When Bob Stoops has you outmatched, he destroys you. When you match up, he struggles.

    This OU team is overrated. I don't think they will overpower Notre Dame like they did Texas and Kansas.

    This one is either a blow out or a tight game, which is why the line is as high as it is.

    I'll take the bait though.

    I think you are right about a lot of things. Notre Dame will have the best front 7 OU has faced and OU's front 7 is probably one of the worst Bob Stoop's has ever said.

    With that said, I think you would have to agree that Notre Dame has barely been winning games against some pretty horrible offenses. Those teams that Sooner13 mentioned all like to run the ball because they can't throw.

    Notre Dame will have to get pressure or else Landry will eat up their secondary. On the other side, OU may not have a great defense but Notre Dame doesn't have a great offense. I don't see Notre Dame being able to consistently drive the ball.

    For Notre Dame to win, they will have to force turnovers, control the clock, and work with a short field. It could happen but I think the odds are in OU's favor.

    I also forgot to add that OU has a huge edge in special teams.
