Huskies and Eagles Best Plays Next week

    Wash Huskies +3.5
    Eagles -2.5

Beavers fairy tale ends in Seattle. Wash just finished the most brutal stretch of their schedule and now they set the tone for rest of the season at home against an OSU team riding high with the best start in school history. Perception way up on OSU and way down on Wash. NCAAF 101 OSU letdown in a tough road game and Wash responds after losing 3 straight

Falcons at 6-0 aren't even a top 5 team in the eyes of Vegas but people think the record means something. Falcons perception is through the roof while in the gutter for Eagles. Falcons crash is a long time comin with lucky wins vs Panthers, Wash (RG3 out), Raiders. Huge game for Eagles in division and they get it done off a bye where Reid is 10-3 ATS and 13-0 SU.

Both one of the best spots of the year in each sport

Very good picks! I am with you on the Eagles pick, still looking at Washington, not sold on the physicality of that team.

Washington is undervalued now after struggling through that early brutal schedule vs USC, LSU, Oregon, and Stanford. These two teams both vistied Arizona with a big difference in outcomes. But that +3.5 is a bit much in this spot, wouldn't be shocked if it goes to 4+ though.

    I'm sick of Oregon State.

Have they lost ATS yet this year?

*huge game for Eagles to keep up in division

OSU 5-1 ATS barely missing cover vs WSU. Their wad is shot while Wash's season is on the line. A loss they pack it in and go 5-7 at best. 7:15 game in a loud as shit stadium with another chance to knock off a "top 10" team and turn season around.

Sometimes those long tough stretches can be taxing on teams as well.

An example from a game I bet this week was Florida over USC, who had played Georgia and LSU back to back. USC had alot of injuries, some minor and some more significant. Many times teams are banged up and injured without much documentation in the injury reports.

I am going to read some local papers and get a better feel for their team health and condition before I make a decision on this tonight.

I missed the game, but they seem soft in the trenches. Hard to get a good gauge on them though considering they played soo many top notch squads, LSU USC Stanford, Oregon and even at Arizona.

Interesting note about the Washington vs Oregon State game

Keith Hayward was the Oregon State secondary coach for the past 5 years or so and he was the main Southern California recruiter and he played at Oregon State. He was hired by Washington right around the national signing day in January. Here is what Ted Miller said:

    11. Oregon State: The Beavers were victimized by a handful of late recruiting flips that put dents in what was shaping up to be a strong class. And the loss of secondary coach Keith Heyward to Washington also was a blow. On the plus side, the Beavers will see 17 returning starters during spring practices.

A few of those recruiting flips mainly went to Washington with Keith Hayward.
Oregon State hired Rod Perry as the new Secondary coach and it seems like he has made a difference with the defense as a whole.

Not sure if there is an angle here just throwing it out....

This team is so hard to get a read on.

Two different teams at home and on the road

Definitely seems like a case were Wash is not as good as they were considered preseason, but better than they are perceived now. While the converse is true for Oregon St, they are better than preseason perceptions, but worse than the #7 or #8 ranking they have now.

I'll be at the game, too. I can see the rest of you still aren't drinking that beaver juice.

"Wisconsin is going to run all over them and score 50, UCLA will dominate at home after smoking Nebraska, beavs can't keep pace with Richrod's spread offense in Arizona, BYU's top 10 defense won't give up any points to a no name backup QB, overrated 5-0 due for a letdown against Utah, and now UW is going to turn their season around with an upset."

You're going to be right, eventually. UW is a jekyll and hyde team because they are the softest team in the pac. No heart. They packed it in at halftime last week and will have their chins tested tomorrow. OSU is experienced, confident, and will look to jump all over UW in the trenches. Mental toughness doesn't show up on paper and is why OSU has been a good bet so far.

Ernie too much beave juice for you. They work some magic every few seasons but it always runs out. Their wad is shot 5x over. Hyde comes out for Wash tonight like vs Stanford

OSU looked horrible last week @home vs Utah and with the reverse line move the beavers are unplayable.
