Tulsa will struggle to cover this Saturday night in Memphis, making the Tigers and 13 points the right play.

Now we have all the respect in the world for 5-1 Tulsa. But the Golden Hurricane may have a tough time covering double-digits on the road here.

Memphis is no longer primarily a running team with DeAngelo Williams now in the NFL, and new starting quarterback Martin Hankins has actually done a fine job of throwing the ball despite the Tigers 1-5 record. Hankins has completed an impressive 61.9 percent of his passes while throwing for 1330 yards and 11 touchdowns in six games, and we feel the Tigers will score enough points here to stay inside this bloated number.

Besides, Tulsa has not exactly done its best work on the road. The lone Hurricane defeat came at BYU, and the Tulsa defense is allowing a disturbing 27.3 points and 354.7 total yards per game away from home. Granted, Tulsa does figure to have success on the ground where it is averaging 171.3 rushing yards per game. But that will also serve to take time off the clock, making it that much more difficult to cover nearly two touchdowns.

    Play: Memphis +13
