    While I agree Tulane is hard to watch, I have a gut feeling Tulane will cover this week. Only because Monroe has gotten so much hype (not that it isn't well deserved). Don't get me wrong I have been pulling for Monroe and they are fun team to watch. Every underdog story is, but I think the oddsmakers know what they are doing with this one. Monroe looks too good so it probably is too good. I could see Monroe win this one by 17 giving the cover to Tulane. Not only that but LT Profits usually knows whats up.

    Im staying away from this one, but best of luck LT.

    People were saying the same thing when I took Colorado State last week, who covered vs. Utah State. I just think Monroe is very overvalued right now. This line should be closer to 15 on the road.

    LT i am normally all over your picks but the tulane pick has me worried. I think monroe is at about even with mississipp in skill and they worked tulane. This may be a no play for me

    its not about monroe being over valued. its about the team u are betting ON. i went to school there. 100 ppl show up to games ad they get routed by decent competition. they won 2 gms last yr. theyr an awful organization hard to put cash on that type of squad regardless of an inflated line

    Indiana Grad here...don't get the line movement and unfortunately I watch every IU game. Everyone in Indy that I know cashed Ball State +3 and we always give up 35 or more to Northwestern. Indiana does have some offensive firepower but the D is slow w/no pass rush and can't get off the field plus you're counting on a QB in his 2nd game to keep pace. I'm on Over 58.5......Northwestern 44-27

    I for one appreciate counter-play posts as long as they come (as they do here) BEFORE the game and attempt to introduce at least one element that might influence that elusive perceived "probability of winning"--that must ultimately be compared to the figure implied in the book odds to decide if the bet is "worth" taking
