OK guys,
Been trolling the forums for a couple years now. Never have much time to post but enjoy reading the threads. I follow some and fade others. The only name I will mention, since he has increased my bankroll two fold is Roxxy and his WNBA picks. Dude has been it...... Anyway I know teasers are a sucker bet, and it's hard enough picking one winner, but I feel by choosing 1 team I am very confident in and then running that with 5 others it could be very lucrative. I know if my top team loses I am screwed, but it's like losing all that bread on a single bet anyway but get the 6 points. So give me your thoughts, good bad otherwise. Here is my thoughts for this weekend. I will combine college and nfl, depending on the games I feel strongest about.
Wisconsin, I know their first game was close vs a sub par non conference opponent, but Oregon State. These guys are not good, and although they are hyped for their first game and at home against one of their biggest non-conference opponents, but seriously.OSU vs. ranked non-conference opponents (regular season):
2011 at No. 8 Wisconsin, 35-0 loss
2010 at No. 3 Boise State, 37-24 loss
2010 at No. 7 TCU*, 30-21 loss
2009 vs. No. 17 Cincinnati, 28-18 loss
2008 at No. 15 Utah, 31-28 loss
2008 at No. 22 Penn State, 45-14 loss
2006 at No. 24 Hawaii, 35-32 win
2005 at No. 11 Louisville, 63-27 loss
2004 at No. 3 LSU, 22-21, OT, loss
*in Dallas
I see this game being at lease a 14 point victory for the Badgers.
Wisconsin -1 Saints -1
Wisconsin -1 Nebraska even
Wisconsin -1 Patriots even
Wisconsin -1 Bama -34
Wisconsin -1 Duke +21
Wisconsin -1 Lions -1.5
Wisconsin -1 Ok. St. -4.5
Wisconsin -1 Clemson -21.5
Wisconsin -1 Bears -3.5
What are your guys thoughts? Smart or not? All plays for one unit, which is $100 for me. I also like the Lions at -1.5 as my other headline team.
