Northwestern Plus 1 and leaning towards over 53.5

Taking NW in this spot. Both defenses are somewhat questionable, but Syracuse has some key injuries. Their all conference left tackle (Justin Pugh) is out, and the right side of the line is suspect. In addition, the top receiver form last year(Alec Lemon) and the tight end are questionable with injuries. Syracuse had trouble with dual threat QB's last year giving up an average of about 30 points to Lousiville, Cinc, S. Florida. NW's QB is Kain Colter is that type of QB, and may give the Syracuse D some problems. NW is deep at wideout, and has a solid O-line. Syracuse is at home and has USC next week so this is a big game for them. NW did win at BC and Nebraska last year, and lost to Army on the road. But will play NW and lean towards the over.

NW should control los, dont like a new qb in 1st road gm but i agree NW or nothing (on them small myself), should be close and smart kids have a way of winning the close ones..

Over in the books. Looks like this one coming down to the wire. NW needs to get something going next drive, as Cuse has the momentum. It's going to be tight.
