Had not been paying too much attention there. A&M looked like they couldn't be stopped in the 2nd Q. SMU looks too inconsistent.

Need five more yards for Teddy B to cash that prop. Just hoping he plays the whole 3rd Q.

Tennessee WR Justin Hunter Total Receptions Over 7 [+100]
Hunter has caught eight and nine in his first two games and this will be a massive moment for him. He tore his knee up against the Gators last year and surely would love to have a monster game to help beat Florida. The Gators do have aggressive corners, but Hunter's size is still going to be a problem. If the Vols loosen up the D with some shots to Patterson as well, Hunter should make a living with catches for the tough yards in between and is still always a big play threat as well.

Arizona State QB Taylor Kelly Total Completions Over 20.5 [-140]
Kelly hasn't had to throw more than 24 passes in two blowout wins, but I think tonight on the road he will be in position to have to pass a bit more against Missouri. Franklin is likely to start for Mizzou even with a shoulder injury, so the Tigers are likely going to put up points tonight. ASU should be in place to compete in what could be a shootout like last year's 37-30 win for the Sun Devils in Tempe. ASU likes to spread the wealth and will use H-back Chris Coyle as a Chris Cooley type who can produce some nice plays in the passing game. Aaron Murray was 22/35 in Georgia's 40-21 win over Mizzou. I think ASU has to throw at least this many times and that should put this prop in position to win.

    Anything for the USC/Stanford game?

I'm admittedly homerish on USC, plus I hate betting heavy favorite public teams. But I see Barkley throwing for 350+ after a low number in bad weather last week. Line has him at 312.5. Thoughts?

Fair enough. I just foresee Barkley letting it loose tonight. They've lost 3 straight to Stanford with Luck, and now Barkley is eyeing his own 1st Round future and will not let USC lose 4 in a row to Stanford for the first time ever. I see a 375/4/1 game for Barkley. Woods and Lee both go over 100. Gorgeous day for football here today. BOL tonight!

Mad at myself for the ASU prop. I was looking @ that and Michigan State's QB total completions. Liked Maxwell the whole way, but swapped for some reason. Always go with the gut.

9.19.12: Buffalo RB Branden Oliver Total Rushing Yards Over 124.5 Yards [-125]
Oliver has been a hoss for Buffalo so far with two straight 100+ rushing games, the last being well over 200. He had an impressive 111 against Georgia on 30 carries. He is a workhorse and should get plenty of work against a Kent State squad that struggled to stop Kentucky last time out both in the air and on the ground.

Haven't watched any of this, but guessing Oliver got hurt or something since he has no carries in the 2nd half. Sucks because with the yards the backups are gaining, he would have been in line to cash this.

Well the injury last night was a real bummer on what looked like it was going to be a good winner in the 2nd half ...

    Props: 10-8 [+1.30]
    Team Totals: 0-2 [-2.20]
    2nd Halves: 15-9-1 [+4.75]

9.20.12: Boise State QB Joe Southwick More Passing Yards (R.Nelson - BYU) +5.5 [-120]
The bet is that Southwick finishes with no more than five passing yards less than Riley Nelson from BYU. I think this is a solid shot. BYU does possess a really good run defense and Boise had some major issues running against Michigan State early in the season. I think that means the passing game could be counted on to do more tonight. Southwick comes in off a 300 yard game against Miami (OH). Nelson is still banged up a bit with a sore back, but will play. Boise's strength is its secondary which picked off Andrew Maxwell three times in the Michigan State game and only gave up 176 last week to Zac Dysert. Nelson was able to put up good numbers the first two games against weaker defenses in Washington State & Weber State before Utah limited him to just 206 on 17/35 passing last week with 82 yards coming in the 4th quarter when BYU was down big, 47 coming on one play.

9.21.12: UL-Monroe QB Kolton Browning Total Passing Yards Over 308.5 [-140]
This is a big #, but given that this game is very likely to develop in to a back & forth time of game with loads of scoring - Browning and the offense should be passing plenty. He has attempted 113 passes in just two games, 67 against Arkansas and 46 last week against Auburn. He passed for 412 in the opening week, but just 237 against a good Auburn pass defense last time. He likely finds a secondary that can be exposed again in Baylor. The Bears gave up 362 to SMU QBs in Week 1 and 285 to Sam Houston State, which prefers to run the ball. If this game stays competitive or the Warhawks play from behind, Browning should have a shot to surpass this number.

9.22.12: Wisconsin RB Montee Ball Total Rushing Yards Over 134.5 [-140]
Ball gets a shot against a UTEP rush D that has been gouged over the first few weeks. They gave up over 200 yards rushing to Oklahoma and over 300 to Ole Miss a couple weeks ago. Ball is your prototypical workhorse running back with 30+ carries in two of the three Wisconsin games this season. Coincidentally, the only game in which he toted the ball less than 30 times - the Badgers lost. His high this season was 139 last week against Utah State. Wisconsin has switched starting QBS - so a healthy running game should be his best friend and if Wisconsin can't make holes in this D, they've got some serious issues.

tough break with ball getting hurt. Wisconsin's running game is looking good for the first time this season (probably due to the defense they're facing rather than any improvements they've made)....looks like the right side. just some bad luck.

    [2nd Half] Army-Wake Forest Over 28 [-120]
Same mode as last week for Army. They have moved the ball and scored on four of five possessions, but have only stopped a poor Wake Forest offense once. Looks like another game where the team with the ball last might win.

Both 2nd halves cash! Telling you ... keep an eye on Army games for 2nd halves. If they are scoring, it's probably a great overs play because they can't stop anyone at this point.
