I have not heard any chatter on here about this game. Here is my thoughts: I think ASU can not only cover, but win outright. Cal is overrated imo. We saw that opening day agaisnt Tennessee. ASU has won by 30+, 20+, and 18+ last week (granted agaisnt CU). Cal has also put up good numbers with a few 30 point wins. It is the opening of conference play for both teams. From what i have seen, ASU's offense just looks more powerful than Cal's. Especially on the ground, with the balanced two back attack. At the very least, this may be a good game to take the over. I think this is also a close shotout to the wire. 34-31 ASU.
Tedford gives Koetter a coaching lesson every time they play (three head-to-head meetings: 27, 28, and 17 point Cal wins, covering the spread by 64 points along the way). ASU's defense is awful, but Cal's actually appears to be improving, and the home team has been money in the bank in Cal games lately. No reason this one is different. I think this is over early.
Cal 41, ASU 21
