    Stanford +11.5

    Stanford +11.5

The Stanford Cardinal was extremely undervalued by oddsmakers last season (7-1 ATS last 8), and that could very well be the case again this year.

Returning Senior QB Trent Edwards completed 63% of his passes in 2005 and was able to execute HC Walt Harris' ball-control offense efficiently. The Cardinal have probably the best special teams unit in the Pac-10 which helped them to near upsets of Notre Dame and UCLA.

Meanwhile, Oregon replaces depated QB Clemens with Jr Dennis Dixon. Although Dixon helped the Ducks win their final 3 regular season games, their offense was actually less productive without the injured Clemens in there. Oregon's defense isn't anything to write home about, especially a depleted Defensive line. While Stanford may not win this game outright, we like their chances to keep this one within a TD. Take the dog.
