    The Cardinal have 10 offensive starters returning from an offense that when healthy last season was productive. Walt Harris begins his second full season at Stanford with high expectations.

    The Cardinal was 4-0 ATS as a road underdog last season under Harris. They will be playing with revenge from a 44-20 shellacking they suffered at home versus the Ducks in 2006. The Cardinal has been 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 season openers.

    Oregon will once be one of the premier teams in the Pac-10. However they still are vulnerable on defense and Stanford has enough firepower on offense to keep this one close throughout.
